Here's a warm welcome to the new subscribers to the Healing Your Animal community and a heart-felt connection to existing subscribers.
I hope you enjoyed your long Labor Day weekend. It marks summer coming to an end and transitioning into the fall season.
In August, I had a fantastic trip to Colorado dropping Miranda off for her master year at CSU then taking some time to visit friends who are authors and spending a day in the Rocky Mountain National Park.
The photo above with the top of the waterfall was a great reward after hiking 8 miles in the higher elevations. It really filled up my soul and I came home fresh and ready for serving and teaching.
In case you are wondering, Alberta Falls isn't an 8-mile hike to get there. It was the last of the hikes I did that day as the perfect way to end the day before hiking back to the car.
Selfcare is a great thing you do for yourself that brings quality to your precious pets, loved ones, and those you serve.
For those of you changing routines with back to school or back into the office, this week's tip will support you and your pets navigating this transition with more ease.

Communicating Your Day Away to Your Pet: As I shared in my last newsletter, for days and nights, share blinks with your pet for the number of nights away.
When you are leaving for a few minutes or hours for your day, here's how you can easily communicate that with your pet:
3 Scenarios - Daylight when you leave and return
- Dark when you leave and return in the daylight
- Dark when you leave and return later when it's dark again
1. Daylight when you leave and return As you are ready to leave, share verbally that you'll be back in a little while. In your mind's eye with your eyes open, show them you are leaving, you are gone, and you are coming back in the door later.
2. Dark when you leave and return in the daylight As you are ready to leave, close your eyes and share verbally you are leaving, you'll be back in a little while, open your eyes to show them it's daylight and you are walking back in the door.
3. Dark when you leave and return later when it's dark again As you are ready to leave, close your eyes and share verbally you are leaving, you'll be gone for the day, open your eyes for daylight, and you'll be back after dark, close your eyes and show them you are coming back in the door.
If you desire assistance, please sign up for an Assessment and we'll set a time where I'll be able to help you, and your pet, have the communication clearly shared about your upcoming travel.
If you'd like to learn more animal communication, I invite you to see Learning Opportunities below.
