It's May. The bunnies are out in my neighborhood. It's fun to see them as I do my walk.
May has some fun aware nesses for animal lovers.
It's National Pet Month.
It's also Responsible Animal Guardian Month
May 3-9 is National Pet Week
May 3-9 is also Be Kind to Animals Week
I know these aware nesses are everyday with you and your pet(s) being part of the Healing Your Animal Community. I appreciate all you do for your precious pet(s).
Heat and allergies have found their way into the Pacific Northwest.
A friend helped me get my portable air conditioners installed and now I can sleep and breathe easier.
In my last newsletter, I shared there was a bird nest with 3 eggs in my catnip plant. I found out it was a black-eyed junco bird. It was fun seeing the male and female bopping around the nest. I was looking forward to watching them fledge from inside. Apparently, a larger bird or predator found the nest because the eggs are gone. Sigh. Nature has its cycle that isn't always what we'd like to see and experience and at the same time we honor it.
As humans, we tend to only want to believe in what we can see, feel, touch, smell and hear: tangible, physical things. That is only the beginning of what makes up your and your pet's bodies.
We cannot see air; yet we know it exists and serves a vital role in keeping us alive. Most people cannot see energy; yet it also impacts the quality of our and our pet's lives.
Your medical doctor and veterinarian support the physical body, and you and your animals need that. There are more factors at play in keeping you and your pet living, feeling, and being your best. Reiki is one support for you and your pet that enhances wellbeing.
Reiki is a spiritual healing tool with Japanese origins that brings balance and healing to an unbalanced body and boosts a healthy body.
Recently, I've been having conversations with people who want to know if I work with people too since people are human animals. :-)
I have always focused on helping the animals and now with so much going on in our world, I am still supporting animals, and I am opening up more healing appointments to support people too. The healthier we are, the healthier our animals are. And as good pet parents we want the best for our pets.
You've heard me talk a lot about chakras recently. In Reiki, you learn and work with the chakras along with healing techniques.
So, this week's exercise is with the Heart Chakra.
