Do you have any plans with Labor Day coming up?
With Miranda back to college, I took a trip to Arch Cape, OR to visit friends and the ocean. Friends and the ocean are great support for soothing and recharging my soul.
Grief comes in different forms. I am grieving Miranda leaving for college and missing her at home. And at the same time, I am happy for her in growing up and discovering herself deeper with the college experience.
Reiki is part of my daily self-care and helps me navigate life with grace and surrender and listen to and be present for others in a compassionate space.
In my last newsletter, I showed you a hand position to help your heart chakra and provide healing for grief.
Animals love Reiki. They sense the compassionate healing energy and are drawn to it. They allow themselves to receive what they resonate with and what is good for them.
Animals grieve too.

Cat Einstein was having behavior issues after his main guardian (husband) passed away. Einstein and his surviving guardian (wife) are establishing their new relationship after their loss.
Einstein received Reiki support for help with grief and calming. He was hyper and on edge at the beginning of his session. This is Einstein at the end of his session stretched out and relaxed. His guardian was thrilled to see him so calm. |

As promised, a photo supporting your animal's heart center for support with grief and anxiety. This can be done whether you are a Reiki healer or not:
- Get Present - easy way is to take a deep breath in and out
- Place your hands on the center of your animal's chest and one hand on the back between your animal's shoulders.
- Allow love to flow in from your hands to nurture your animal.
This supports calming your animal, helps with separation anxiety, and helps if they are grieving.
The energy is enhanced when you are a Reiki healer.
