Healing Your Animal Connection |

Hi Friend,
Healing Vibrations to You and Your Animals!

How is your summer? How are your animals enjoying the summer?
I took a trip down to Arch Cape, OR and it was so refreshing. I loved my daily walks on the beach. This seagull was enjoying the day too. The hardest part about travel is leaving my cats at home. I practice what I shared in my last newsletter, connecting with them when I was away. This helps all of us manage the trip with more ease.

It has been common to use the model of wait for a crisis and take your animal to the vet.
There is a less stressful way and more people are catching on. Doing wellness and prevention care for your animal. Regular wellness healing sessions help keep your animal in his/her best health and actually reduces crisis vet trips. A benefit of regular wellness sessions is you catch issues early and your animal heals and recovers quicker.
Being guardians of animals, you may encounter a serious issue that has you feeling scared, lost, vulnerable, heart aching and feeling helpless when it comes to your beloved pets. This was the case with Sally when Vincent and Pablo became seriously ill and it was not clear why; yet, they both were affected. Sally is one who uses the preventative approach. We had a relationship prior to her crisis which helped her 2 kitties when it came crisis time.
Here is what Sally had to say:
“I am so grateful for Vicki's incredible help! Recently, my two cats, Vincent and Pablo became quite ill very suddenly, acting lethargic and refusing all food and water. When the situation did not improve after a few days, I took them to the vet. Between the trauma of the vet visit and the illness, the boys were clearly stressed and uncomfortable, so I reached out to Vicki. She worked with us over the course of the next few days to help the cats get on a path to calm and healing. I saw an improvement instantly in Vincent & Pablo's appetite and energy level, and the improvement kept building with each session. Within a couple of days my cats were their usual hungry, playful, affectionate selves again. Vicki checked in with me frequently to see how the boys were doing in between sessions and advised me of things to do and watch for as I monitored their progress. Her work was a great compliment to my vet's evaluation and helped us to accelerate the healing process.”
It is important to take care of yourself after you have taken care of your animals, especially after the stress of a crisis. Nature is very healing.

Get out in nature for a walk, watch a sunrise or a sunset. Nature is a quick way to get rejuvenated. Can't get to the beach or woods, no problem. Urbanites, find a park to immerse yourself into the grass, shrubs and trees. If it’s pouring down rain, visit a plant store and walk around.
Notice how you feel adding more nature in your life and what shifts in your life for you and your precious animal.
