I hope your animals and you are cool and navigated the heat wave well.
I was traveling and came home in the middle of it to be in the hottest part.
I was grateful to find that my cats, Spirit and Sapphire, managed well with the heat while I was gone.
One thing that kept me out of worrying about Spirit and Sapphire is I was connecting and communicating with them daily, so I knew they were ok.
Sharing with you an exercise to help you connect with your animals while you are away to ease the time away for both of you. |

Connecting Mindfully With Your Pet When You are Away - Pause, take a refreshing breath, center yourself
- Bring out at a photo of your pet
- Connect your heart with your precious cat or dog
- Your pet will feel your connection
- Embrace this connection from your heart with your pet's
- Then go on about your day.
This connection and dedicated moment of time with them will help your pet and you feel your connection. It helps your pet handle you not being home physically. It will help add love to both of your day.
