Here's a warm welcome to the new subscribers to the Healing Your Animal community and a heart-felt connection to existing subscribers.
How is the winding down of summer gearing up for the school year going for you?
I have been enjoying getting out in nature doing rock climbing and hiking. The outdoors is self-care support that keeps me at my freshest for serving your pets and you with living your best lives.
I'm getting ready to travel and help Miranda get settled as she goes back to Colorado for her master's degree. While I'm there, I'm meeting up with fellow authors for dinner and hiking with my editor. The elevation is higher there, so hoping I navigate that with ease.
My trip has inspired this week's tip for communicating travel to your pet. |

Communicating Your Travel to Your Pet: Tip: Before you travel away from your pet, I recommend you giving pets a heads up about your travel plans. They are sensitive and know you are doing something. They just do not know what yet. It would be nice to tell them before you bring out your suitcase.
For days and nights, share blinks with your pet for the number of nights away.
For example, you are going away for three nights and coming back on the fourth day during the daytime, and you are leaving in five days, so that is four nights together before you leave:
Visualize yourself and your pet together for four more nights, then show them four blinks. Visualize yourself leaving out the door with your suitcase. Show your pet three blinks. Then visualize yourself coming back home, walking through the door with your suitcase.
If you desire assistance, please sign up for an Assessment and we'll set a time where I'll be able to help you, and your pet, have the communication clearly shared about your upcoming travel.
If you'd like to learn more animal communication, I invite you to see Learning Opportunities below.
