Worried about the flu? Use this

Hello Friend,

A cheery Wednesday to you and your furry/no so furry family..

Today's article is about how you can naturally treat and prevent the flu/cold in dogs/cats and people..

It is with the use of colostrum, and this is in my supplement, Ultimate Canine and Ultimate Feline

You can use others, but mine just also happens to have higher than typical levels of colostrum, and is proving helpful for thousands of pets.

My supplements are here:

                           Worried about the Flu?

Bovine colostrum is beneficial as a health supplement for cats and dogs of all ages. It promotes a healthy immune system, digestion and oral cavity in companion animals of all ages!

Quite simply, colostrum provides a range of natural growth and immune factors that achieve a healthy immune system at any age, promote healthy digestion, and support the health of the oral cavity. The factors found in colostrum work in synergy to optimize immune support, the health of the gastrointestinal tract, oral cavity, musculoskeletal system, and skin and hair coat health. Palatability studies have also shown that the majority of pets enjoy the flavor of colostrum. It tastes great!

For puppies and kittens, these complementary factors support normal tissue growth and development. Research has shown that as your pet ages, the body gradually produces less of the immune and growth factors that help them maintain and support health.

In aging and senior pets, colostrum helps to maintain normal body function and a state of health. It also provides a form of additional energy.

For working and performance pets, colostrum delivers a source of key factors that work to support natural stamina, endurance and normal recovery.

Colostrum is the only natural source that provides this concentrated combination of health supporting molecules in one package.

Immune Support

Taking a daily colostrum supplement can help your immune system stay at its normal levels to fight off infection and disease. It has even been suggested that colostrum is an effective and practical solution to help your body maintain its natural immune system against influenza episodes 1. This is due to the high number of immune supporting compounds and substances that occur naturally in colostrum including lactoferrin.

Some of these substances, like IGF-1, Lactoferrin, and Lactoperoxidase, can be sufficient in a low concentration to support normal immune protection and provide nonspecific defense. Lactoferrin, a natural defense protein that is found in secretions like saliva, is particularly important because of its antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.

Colostrum can play an important role in intestinal and stomach health. In many instances influenza begins in the intestinal tract and it is here where colostrum provides support by providing in-situ protection. It is already documented that colostrum is used to help combat chronic diarrhea in HIV infection and diarrhea caused by rotavirus infection in children. 1

When taken consistently, colostrum provides immune support to help your body against infection resulting in fewer influenza episodes.
