Here's a pretty common question that I receive:


"With so many different people writing books and with websites
telling us what is best for our pets, how do we know which one
is giving us accurate information and who is just trying to make
money?"

WHO do you TRUST?

Great question, and in this World of Information
overload, it is getting harder and harder to know.

On top of all this, there are some pretty flashy
looking shiny websites, with big corporate names
behind them which seem to have a lot of authority.

Probably trustworthy?.....Right?

Vaccines every year?
--------------------------

For years I was taught to give MULTIPLE vaccines to dogs
and cat EVERY year.

There were some impressive looking websites advocating
this approach, and WARNING of the dangers of NOT
Vaccinating.

Clearly this has serious health implications for your
pets, YET when BIG companies fund these websites, it's
sure hard to know WHAT to believe.

ONLY Feed Dry Kibble
------------------------------

Commercial Dog and Cat Food is another example-

Most of the Pet Food companies claim how feeding their
'balanced' ALL in one commercial kibble is the BEST
thing to do.

In fact 7 MULTINATIONAL Corporations ( ie Nestle, Mars, P&G) control 86% of the Pet Food Industry............hmmmmmm

Many a Veterinarian will tell you to ONLY feed Dry
Commercial Kibble.

YET common sense and newer research is having us re-think
this advice.

Such as the increasing number of feline diabetics linked
to diet.

The SINGLE biggest change that you can make to REVERSE the
signs of diabetes is by feeding CANNED High Protein
low carbohydrate food.

And AVOID the Dry Kibble.

The HEARTWORM Industry
--------------------------------------

Most recommendations in the U.S. come from the
'American Heartworm Society'...yet who are some of their MAJOR sponsors?......Large Drug Companies that make and sell Heartworm Preventive Medication.

In general I feel that the REAL risks to most dog owners are slim, yet this is not being communicated. The companies GOAL is to SELL MORE, NOT LESS.

That being said, I still always encourage you to be
skeptical about anything you hear, and do your research.

Find out what others think..

Have they had a positive experience?
