I remember having a FRANTIC call about a dog that couldn't
get up.
The client suspected paralysis.
Jack the dog was rushed in..
He slowly walked into the clinic.
He then proceeded to have EXPLOSIVE diarrhea

Physical Exam -
Normal Temp, Pulse, Resp,
No dehydration YET
Very uncomfortable abdomen.
Rectal- distended colon.
Tentative Diagnosis:
Acute Gastroenteritis from the Deer Hide.
He didn't want to get up because his
belly was so painful.
