Hello Friend,

A Big Hi to you and your furry admirers..

Yesterday was a LONG day of travel, as I am
currently visiting my brother and his family on Vancouver Island.

It involves a ferry ride, but part of the 'rules' are NO pets on the passenger decks.

One of the passengers had a neatly dressed Yorkie, ( called Lucy), along with a special baggage like looking dog carrier.

She brings Lucy upstairs with her on the passenger decks, and so long as no evil ferry official sees her, then Lucy gets to stay warm, and have attention.

Lewis and Jessie are medium to large dogs- they are HARD to conceal in any type of luggage..hence they spent the ferry ride downstairs with the vehicles.

But as Lewis and Jessie are part of our family, we spent most of trip down there as well, with our kids running our dogs around and around the car deck.

So my question is about whether or not you think this is fair?

I understand why dogs aren't wandering through the cafeteria, BUT could there not be a pet allowed area that is heated, and comfortable?

It all goes back to attitutes about pets, and the importance we as a society put on them.

For me, and MILLIONS of others, pets are members of our family- they are clearly MORE than animals, and should be treated accordingly.

But apparently the powers that be that run the ferry service don't think the same way..Although IF you ever go on a BC ferry, DON'T eat the food- Lewis and Jessie's dog food smelled ( and probably) tastes better.

P.S. Lucy's owner was asking me about some type of supplement that she could give to help with her chronic skin conditions. Yorkshire Terriers are prone to allergies, seborrhea and a variety of skin disorders. She was thrilled to find out I have a Complete Dog Supplement, so I gave her a bottle to try.

IF you have a dog or cat with allergies or other chronic skin disorder, such as repeated Ear infections, then I suggest that you try my supplement as well.

I can't give you a bottle, but I can let you get it for 50% OFF here:
