Pet Owners INCITE change

People like you, dog and cat advocates, can cause change.

It's just so seldom that our voices are heard.

But consider what recently happened to Michael Vick.

Remember him?

Vick served 19 months in prison for running an illegal interstate dog fighting business.

Vick killed 13 dogs by hanging, shooting, electrocuting, and slamming them
repeatedly on the ground.

Then there are other unmentionable acts such as throwing family pets into
the ring for dogs to attack, and ALL the abuse dogs took in 'regular' dog
fighting.

Yes he has been vilified by pet owners (rightfully so), was in prison, lost
a BIG football salary, and was forbidden from owning a dog for 3 years, BUT
the point is his ATTITUDE.

Vick is NOT sorry

Vick hasn't ONCE expressed ANY empathy toward the dogs he performed such horrible acts to.

Very little remorse.

NO compassion.

So he goes on to write a book...( this is a picture from Amazon)

Michael Vick: Finally Free.

He planned on having book appearances at Atlanta, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania Barnes & Noble stores

But his tour was abruptly cancelled.  This was the news release headline:

"Michael Vick's book-signing tour has been canceled because of threats
against him for running a dogfighting ring."

Pet advocates took  mostly to Social Media and LOUDLY protested.

Barnes and Noble heard this loud and clear on Facebook, and cancelled the
appearances.

Pet owners can cause PAWSITIVE change.

P.S. There were some threats of violence, but most of the comments were
angry pet owners expressing their dismay towards Barnes and Noble.
