Hello Friend,
Welcome to Monday!
A common problem that I hear from both people and pets..
HOW to SHED the 'extra pounds'
THE PROBLEM: You’re on a weight-loss plan and being strict about sticking to the ‘rules’, yet you’re not shedding pounds very quickly. Previous studies have shown that the intestinal flora of obese people differs from thin people – most likely due to a diet high in fat and low in fibre. So losing more weight could be as simple as resetting the balance of the gut with ‘good bacteria’.
HOW PROBIOTICS HELP: A Canadian study has found that popping a daily probiotic pill could aid weight loss. Those who took a probiotic containing the lactobacillus rhamnosus strain lost an average of 10lb during the 12-week trial – that’s 4lb more than those who were on a placebo.
My supplements contain a variety of probiotics that may help your pet lose some additional weight ( sorry not for people yet, although a few I know are adding it to their smoothies :-) )

| | Dogs take owner's car for a joyride outside animal hospital
Source: cbc news
Some onlookers in Yarmouth were treated to an unusual sight last week after two dogs took their owner's car on a short lived joyride.
Harry d'Entrement and his friend, Edward d'Entrement, went for a coffee run on Friday morning and while they were driving on Parade Street, a car started to pull out of the animal hospital parking lot.
Harry d'Entrement said something didn't look right.
"At a glance, I thought it was a couple of old ladies driving a little car," he said Monday.
As the car got closer, he couldn't believe his eyes.
"I was kind of speechless. I couldn't make sense of what I was seeing," he said.
It turned out, the drivers were dogs. One was in the driver's seat and the other was in the passenger's seat, making what looked like a getaway from the animal hospital.
"My friend said, 'Man, what's that? A dog driving?'" said d'Entrement.
The owner of the car had apparently left his Pontiac Vibe in neutral and it coasted out of the driveway and onto the street.
"The car was just kind of rolling, not too fast, coming right in the road," d'Entrement said.
The two men got out of the car and watched while the two dogs looked back at them from inside the car. They snapped a photo before the owner of the dogs ran out of the animal hospital.
The men said they were in hysterics as the dog owner apologized.
"It's the funniest thing I'd seen in years," d'Entrement said.
What could have been a day in the doghouse turned out OK — no one was hurt.

P.S. If you happen to have a dog or cat in need of shedding some extra pounds- a great idea as we are seeing many diseases directly linked to being overweight ( ie diabetes, liver disease, arthritis, ACL rupture), then you should consider my supplements
