Today is Halloween, and in my veterinary clinic I always had at least one case of chocolate toxicity.
In most cases the chocolate that dog's consume only gives them an upset stomach, as candy bars contain little chocolate.
But
with the increasing emphasis on treats with dark chocolate, more and
more poisonings are being seen, and in some case even a small amount can
be fatal.
