A cheery Friday to you and the important members of your family.

First, Thank you for being a subscriber!

While I go through my 'ordeal' with now not practicing, it's comforting to have a few supporters along the way.

For those of you who don't know, I resigned from the College of Veterinarians of BC on December 1, 2010.

They chose to find me 'guilty' of professional misconduct based on information that I write in this newsletter, and in my book,

I still find it somewhat hard to believe...

$30,000 in fines.

Just 'how bad' can my words be?

Then on top of this, I recently was sent to invoice from the Veterinary Association lawyer of another $10,000..My lawyer says that 'legally' I am obligated to pay.

Wonderful.

I have still yet to pay off my own lawyer.

Was it worth it?

Yes and No


I still feel strongly on the point of principle- that I should be able to speak my mind, market my Internet business, and give you information on alternative albeit 'unproven' dog and cat holistic remedies.

But when I stare at the legal bills, or spend my time shovelling snow off the roof at the clinic as opposed to seeing clients and performing surgery, I do have some second thoughts.

I am contemplating writing a book about this whole thing, and I definitely intend publishing my newsletter.

I am working on changing and being MUCH more involved in the Inner Circle.
