Allergies—the dreaded enemy of both pets and their people!
While I won’t dish out human medical advice (I’ll stick to what I know best), I do have a powerful, natural remedy that’s been working wonders for dogs and cats: Quercetin.
This potent flavonoid, found in red onion, apple peel, and other plants, helps combat allergy symptoms. Our whole-plant Quercetin is easily absorbed, and its natural ingredients work together for maximum relief.

| | The Struggle of a Cat Allergy—And a Cheap and Easy Solution
Between 10-20% of the population is allergic to dogs or cats, with cat allergies being twice as common. Cats produce multiple allergens, including Fel d1, a protein in their saliva that spreads to fur and dander when they groom.
Common Solutions
Experts suggest: - Keeping cats out of bedrooms (though allergens still spread).
- Avoiding direct contact and washing hands after touching cats.
- Using HEPA filters and high-efficiency vacuums.
- Bathing your cat weekly to reduce airborne allergens.
- The Problem Protein—Fel d1
- Fel d1 triggers an immune response, causing allergy symptoms.
The Special Egg Powder A 2019 study found that an anti-Fel d1 antibody from chicken eggs can bind to and neutralize Fel d1 in a cat’s saliva. Purina developed a cat food with this ingredient—but it comes at a high cost.
DIY Egg Powder—A Reddit User’s Success
One cat owner made their own version by: - Using eggs from chickens raised near cats.
- Hard-boiling the yolks, drying them at 170°F for 5-7 hours, then blending into a powder.
- Feeding ÂĽ tsp daily to their cats.
- After 3-6 weeks, their allergy symptoms vanished—no more itchy eyes or sneezing. Cost? Just $5 for a 1-2 month supply.
A simple, affordable alternative to expensive specialty cat food! |
