It's still dark...
The day's first birds are waking with tentative chirps. We lay awake, listening to their calls build and breathing in the fresh breeze blowing off the waves below.
Just as the sky begins to lighten, we make our way to the beach. Except for a few late-rising fisherman, we have it to ourselves. We walk North along the shore, barefoot, watching pelicans fly by and enjoying each shade of grey, pink, orange, yellow, and finally brilliant blue, that fills the sky.
It's another beautiful morning!
