Subject: [Devon CLINIC] What to Bring - from Karen Musson and Kate Sandel

Hello Clinic Riders!

We want to make sure you have all the information you need for the clinic. Here goes...

First, please be sure to (if you haven't already done so):
  1. Complete the Rider Questionnaire
  2. Contact Kate Sandel (see below) about arriving and getting your horse settled in.
  3. Please click to print out this formfill it in and bring it with you to the venue (with thanks for your patience regarding US style legalities)
  4. Watch videos on YouTube.com/TheArtOfRiding, especially https://youtu.be/mjGetfgr7ig and https://youtu.be/k9FelW0-slo
FORMAT:

I seek to work with riders and horses in the way that best fits each partnership. This will include some coaching in a small group, with one-on-one time to show you the concepts with your own horse.

You and your horse will be participating in one 90 minute session per day with one other horse and rider. Riders will be paired based on questionnaires. Be sure to bring a notepad/journal to note insights about your own horse as well as tips for similar/different kinds of horses during the other sessions.

There will also be plenty of opportunities for questions etc. The exact format may vary, depending on horse/rider partnerships and so on. In other words this clinic is relaxed/informal, while seeking to squeeze the most out of the weekend!
