Sunday Service Time: 11:00 AM |
| | | Better Late than Never :-)
|
| | Hi, Friends -- Russ and I have been having a busy time here at the Unity People's Conference in Overland Park, Kansas, and attended a concert and opening ceremonies, including the ordination of our friend, musician Richard Mekdeci. Richard, Daniel Nahmod, Faith Rivera and Sue Riley have been providing spectacular music for the conference! We walked over to the Peace Chapel at the Village, to see my Dad's Peace Mural. Please know that I carry you in my heart and will be glad to head home again tomorrow after hearing our wonderful Rev. Magie Cook as keynote speaker in the morning. See you this weekend for Express Saturday and/or for services on Sunday at UCC!

This Sunday @ UCC: Lesson Title: Your Potential
|
|
Inspired by lyrics to “Let It Out” by Faith Rivera and Richard Mekdeci:
“I have within me greater power than that I have used, more life than I have lived, more strength than I have known.”
“I have within me, greater dreams to come true, more willingness to change, more love to give away,”
“I have within me greater wealth for me to share, more potential to reveal, more beauty every day.”
I am ready to express my divine potential and shine my light! |

Middle of the month can only mean one thing! It's Express Saturday time!
As always there's plenty to do this Express Saturday. We'll have coffee, donuts and smiles waiting for you :-)
If you aren't familiar with Express Saturday, it's our bi-weekly opportunity to come together and make the church shine. We give the building a good cleaning from top to bottom and some folks like to do a little gardening during that time. We also make time to socialize, because maintaining our Church means not only "housekeeping," for also friendly "home-making."
It's a great way to make friends and feel the wonderful satisfaction that comes from working together in the House Built on Love! We also have opportunities to serve for those that prefer to work outside!
Whether you can be with us or not, have a safe, peaceful, and prosperous weekend! |

| | | June Heart of the House - June Harben
|
| June Harben was born on June 5, 1929. A few months later the most devastating stock market crash in our nation’s history occurred, leading to the 10-year Great Depression. Also, that year, influenza would reach epidemic proportions in the United States. But, neither collapses in national wealth or health would deter the growth and artistic development of this thriving first-born daughter of a pioneer Florida family.
In the above picture, June is creating a painting from a photo taken near Yankeetown while on a pontoon boat at the mouth of the Withlacoochee River. The untitled result, which she donated to the Dunedin Fine Art Center, she now calls “The Wharf.” June paints, then titles, considering the opposite procedure creatively and unnecessarily restrictive.
June says she’s still trying to come up with her “masterpiece” and tends to downplay significant accomplishments. She has won awards in shows throughout Florida and in Alabama and Louisiana. A first-place winner hangs in the Bryant Allen collection in New Orleans. Her paintings are exhibited at both Tampa and Clearwater/St. Petersburg airports.

| | | Permanent prosperity
“As you lay hold of substance with your mind, make it permanent and enduring. Realize your oneness with it. You are unified with the one living substance, which is God, your all-sufficiency. From this substance you were created; in it you live and move and have your being; by it you are fed and prospered.
The spiritual substance is steadfast and immovable, enduring. It does not fluctuate with market reports. It does not decrease in ‘hard times’ nor increase in ‘good times.’ It cannot be hoarded away to cause a deficiency in supply and a higher price. It cannot be exhausted in doles to meet the needs of privation. It is ever the same, constant, abundant, freely circulating and available”
(Charles Fillmore, Cofounder of the Unity Movement in the Foreword of Prosperity, 1936) |
| Your Weekly Prosperity Affirmation:
“I AM ONE WITH DIVINE SUBSTANCE, IS PERMANENT AND ENDURING, INEXHAUSTIBLE, CONSTANT, ABUNDANT, FREELY CIRCULATING AND AVAILABLE TO ME!”
THANK YOU, GOD! |
