This Sunday @ UCC:
Lesson Title: What R U Saying?
Inspired by lyrics to “I Am a Gift” by StoweGood:

I tell myself that am a gift, no matter what age, no matter how I look, I am God's perfect Child.

I am a gift and I promise every day when I look in the mirror I'll say, I am a gift.

I tell myself that God wants only good for me.

I rise above hurt feelings and give thanks that I am a gift.

I am a precious Child of God, so I make this vow and I say it with love, I am perfect and whole and enough, and I am a gift.
Here's an Idea
We're always encouraged to turn our phones off during church. Well, it's a new world and phones in church can be a good thing.

We're asking you to check in on your social media while you're at church, and even though you're here in person you can like and share the live stream on Facebook.

Thanks for helping get the word out about UCC!

July Heart of the House - Jim Ivins
For 30 years, Unity choir member Jim Ivins worked for the Bell Telephone System, once called “Ma Bell.” Later a Verizon technician, then a realtor, he retired in 2015 and moved to Florida. Born in Camden, NJ, he was raised in farm country, Laurel Springs and Chews Landing. Drafted during the Vietnam era, Jim opted to join the Navy for four memorable and transformative years.

For more than half of his military duty, Jim was in Morocco, the remainder in Newfoundland where he met and married a fisherman’s daughter, Sylvia White. For 15 months in 1967-69, he served on a clandestine base where communications with ships in the Mediterranean required top secret clearance and a guard of 60 sailors, 70 Marines and 26 German Shepherds. Jim volunteered to go to Vietnam on a river boat, but, because he had married a Canadian, was sent back to Morocco where life was good, and the couple had their own villa and a Triumph Spitfire.

A Good Thing Happened
A UCC member just reported that she had cut back on her weekly tithe for a time. She had been anxiously waiting for some expected insurance money, but it seemed as though it would never arrive. The insurance money was eagerly awaited to cover expenses that had been paid out of pocket.

Finally, the UCC member decided to step out on faith and increase the tithe to the original amount. Well, the result was awesome, as the insurance check arrived within a very short time after she committed to resume tithing.

Thank You, God!

Open the door of your mind!

“Whoever you are and whatever your immediate need, you can demonstrate the law. If your thoughts are confused, become still and know. Be still and know that you are one with the substance and with the law of its manifestation. Say with conviction: I am strong, immovable Spirit substance.

This will open the door of your mind to an inflow of substance-filled ideas. As they come, use them freely. Do not hesitate or doubt that they will bring results. They are God’s ideas given to you in answer to your prayer and in order to supply your needs. They are substance, intelligent, loving, eager to manifest themselves to meet your need”

(Charles Fillmore, Cofounder of the Unity Movement in the Foreword of Prosperity, 1936)
Your Weekly Prosperity Affirmation:

“I AM STRONG, IMMOVABLE SPIRIT SUBSTANCE. GOD’S IDEAS ARE ALIVE AND EAGER TO FULFILL MY EVERY GOOD DESIRE.”
