Lesson Title: We Remember
“We Remember Them” by Rabbis Sylvan Kamens & Jack Fiemer (1975)

“At the rising of the sun and at its going down…. At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter…. At the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring, we remember them.”

“At the shining of the sun and in the warmth of summer…. At the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of autumn, we remember them.”

“At the beginning of the year and at its end…. When we have decisions… to make, when we have achievements that are based on theirs …. when we fulfill their dreams, and our own, we remember them.”

“As long as we live, they too will live: For they are now a part of us, as we remember them.”

Lend a Hand
There's always much to do to keep a spiritual home and community running smoothly.

Unity Clearwater is no exception and we prove week in and week out how valuable our team members truly are.

There are always opportunities to serve in a variety of positions including:
Welcome Team: Ushers, Greeters & Lightbringers

Every Sunday our welcome team is at the front line of hospitality at UCC. If you'd like to be a part of the team please see Jeff & Esther (pic) in the lobby any Sunday.

On a Sunday when Jeff & Esther are traveling please ask for Rob Hammock.
Tech Team: Audio, Video, Lighting, Live-streaming & More

The UCC tech team primarily handles AV for the Sunday service as well as some pre & post production tasks and a bit of network maintenance.

Whether you feel tech savvy or not, the tech team has positions for you to serve. So, don't be scared away from volunteering because you don't feel qualified.

Btw, one perk of helping out on the tech team is you get to enjoy the Sunday service from the best seat in the house.

You can visit the media loft and talk to the team members on any Sunday. The stairs to the loft are outside the east side of the sanctuary. C'mon up and see us!
April Heart of the House - Karla Wright
There she is, right first row on Sunday mornings at UCC, the lady of many hats, this past Easter wearing an original design, a dark pink floppy straw number with teeny decorative Easter eggs dangling from its wide brim. She is a traveler and a collector, of hats, handbags and backpacks.

But, it is probably her email moniker, mepoet2, that most succinctly reflects the greatest passion of the illimitable Karla Wright. Karla is a poet and proud of that destiny. She thinks she may have inherited her talent from a grandfather that she never really knew, although she has read and appreciated his works. In high school, the encouragement of an English teacher propelled the direction of her writing to creating poetry. Then, as now, she favored a flowing, free verse style.

The Kingdom of Abundance

“There is a kingdom of abundance of all things, and it may be found by those who seek it and are willing to comply with its laws. Jesus said that it is hard for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven. This does not mean that it is hard because of his wealth, for the poor man gets in no faster and no easier. It is not money but the thoughts [people may] hold about money, its source, its ownership, and its use, that keep them out of the kingdom . . . .

They must learn that they cannot possess and lock up that which belongs to God without themselves suffering the effects of that sequestration . . . .

Every thought of personal possession must be dropped out of mind before [people] can come into the realization of the invisible supply . . . .

It is the mind that believes in personal possessions that limits the full idea. God’s world is a world of results that sequentially follow demands. It is in this kingdom that [we] find [our] true home. Labor has ceased for [the person] who has found this inner kingdom. Divine supply is brought forth without laborious struggle: to desire is to have fulfillment”

(Charles Fillmore, Cofounder of the Unity Movement in the Foreword of Prosperity, 1936)
Your Weekly Prosperity Affirmation:
