This Sunday @ UCC:
Unity of the Spirit - Leddy Hammock
Inspired by lyrics by Jan Garrett

“This is what I know: We are all connected, the universe reflected in each shining part.

And everywhere I go, I recognize the faces – all of my relations in this One Heart.

And all I need is already looking through these eyes, nearer than my breathing, closer than hands and feet.

We are dreaming together all the gifts of heaven and earth, and so I receive all I can be.

So it is and so be it . . . and now we begin . . . . Amen!”

Guided Meditation
2:00 - 3:00 PM

For more than three decades here, we have set aside a time of contemplation on Good Friday between noon and 3:00 PM - the hours when, according to the Gospels, Jesus spoke seven times from the cross in preparation for His great demonstration over death.

At 2:00 PM, seven votives shall have been lit, which will be extinguished, in turn, as we contemplate the profound spiritual meaning of each of the Master's seven last statements from the Cross.

Come, let us honor the Silence as we share in this powerful and transformative spiritual preparation for Easter.
Easter at UCC
Sun, Apr 16
9:30 & 11:00 AM
Sanctuary

Our Music Ministry shares awesome music during both services in our Sanctuary!

On Easter Sunday, "Happy Hour" including Nursery care for infants and toddlers, crafts for elementary school aged children is held during the early service (9:30 - 10:30 am).  Then, a Continental Breakfast is served on a love offering basis in our Café between 8:45 AM and 9:15 AM and between 10:30 and 11:00 AM.

During the second service a positive lesson time will be presented for children of all ages in our Youth Wing, starting with Assembly in the Peace Chapel, including a beautiful Easter Flower Service (especially memorable and much more meaningful and relevant to our Unity teachings than an "Easter Egg hunt").  School age children will join us in the Sanctuary at the close of our Worship Service.

We will close our Café early that day so our volunteers can celebrate with their families.  Thanks to all our helpers! Happy Easter!

Our New Canopies Are on the Way!
It's intriguing to realize that, by the guidelines of feng shui,
our main building, viewed from Nursery Road, seems to have "hidden doors."

Hmm.  Since your Board of Directors knows that we all want people to find us and feel welcome, they decided to go forward with the plan of adding a lovely royal blue awning to the East lobby entrance and a soothing sage green awning to the Bookstore entrance.

We give thanks in advance as funds manifest for this exciting new addition to our Church Home!

A REWARDING LENTEN SEASON!

“Make this Lenten season a rewarding season by deliberately practicing the healing power of love through acts of forgiveness and release. Charles Fillmore describes this as a ‘sure remedy’ for resurrecting health, wealth, and happiness: ‘Bless your problem, whatever it be, with a thought somewhat like t his: I now release you and bless you. Divine love is adjusting my life and its problems. Realizing this, I abide in peace . . . . Every person who thus allies himself [or herself] with the power of divine love creates a bit of heaven on earth.’”

(Catherine Ponder in The Prospering Power of Love [Unity School of Christianity, 1966]

Your Weekly Prosperity Affirmation:
