This Sunday: - Unique You
From lyrics to “Who You Really Are” by Richard Mekdeci, Sue & Sage Riley:

I know who you really are, I see it in your eyes. You are a shining star, I know who you really are. I know who you’re here to be, I see it in your eyes. A light for the world to see, I know who you’re here to be.

You brighten every room, you always leave too soon and this is just the beginning. I know who you really are, I see it in your eyes.

You are incredible, so unforgettable .... You are an awesome friend, and so magnificent and there is just no denying.

I know who you really are, I see it in your eyes. You are a shining star, I know who you really are.

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)

Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.

Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.

Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

Board Member & President of Hospitality, Deb Larkin is hosting a weekly Zoom "Table Talk Thursday" call so we can see each others faces and hear each others voices.

Why Table Talk? Well, because that's one thing we miss during this time:  sitting around a table in the café and talking together. The Table Talk will last about an hour. Feel free to drop in for a few minutes or spend the whole hour with us.

Each week, Deb will have a new topic and you will have the opportunity to learn something new about each other and to share your thoughts. You can choose to participate or just listen in, whatever is comfortable for you. It will be a fun time for all as we enjoy our Unity community and navigate a new normal of virtual social distancing and spiritual closeness.

Next week's movie will be "Under Capricorn" (1949) with Ingrid Bergman, Michael Wilding & Joseph Cotton

Under Capricorn is a 1949 British historical "thriller" film directed by Alfred Hitchcock about a couple in Australia who started out as lady and stable boy in Ireland, and who are now bound together by a horrible secret. The film is based on the play by John Colton and Margaret Linden, which in turn is based on the novel Under Capricorn (1937) by Helen Simpson. The screenplay was written by James Bridie from an adaptation by Hume Cronyn. This was Hitchcock's second film in Technicolor, and like the preceding color film Rope (1948), it also features 9 & 10 minute long takes.

Lemonade is a collection of stories written by warrior women who share powerful, vulnerable, and bone-chilling truths that will inspire and empower you to find the lemons in your life, sip some tangy yet sweet lemonade, and unravel your tightly wound self a bit more . . . until you feel free . . . bold . . . courageous . . . and expansive enough to be who you are . . . who you are meant to be." From Beth Travers, volunteer coordinator for Inspire Equine Therapy Program

I am reaching out to nearby churches and high schools to share our volunteer opportunities.

Inspire is located on a beautiful 12-acre property, at the back of the neighborhood behind Belcher Elementary School;

Creek Under the Son Stables
1743 Doncaster Road
Clearwater

http://www.inspireequinetherapyprogram.org

Inspire Equine Therapy Program is a PATH International Member Center that focuses on Equine Assisted activities for teens (ages 10 and up) and adults with disabilities along with disabled veterans. We rely on volunteers to assist with each program, make our participants feel welcome and encouraged and to do general upkeep around the barn. Experienced volunteers eventually lead and help care for the horses.

I would like to invite your church youth leaders, activity directors, etc. to our monthly tour:
New and Interested Volunteer Orientation - Saturday, May 22 at 10:00 am
This tour and info session is for new volunteers and those interested in joining our team. We will tour the property, review the programs and go over rules and expectations. Then we will observe an adaptive riding class in progress and answer any questions you may have. Please park in the gravel lot in front of the house and meet us under the carport.
Feel free to bring any interested students. I am happy to sign any Bright Futures or other program forms after they have reached their goals for volunteer hours.

All visits to the property are by appointment only.
To RSVP, please reply to bethtravers24@gmail.com
How You Can Donate
We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.

The easiest option is our online donation form which can be found at: https://www.unityofclearwater.org/giving/

If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.

We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3&-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

UCC Contributes Monthly to Feeding Tampa Bay
UCC continues to contribute to FeedingTampaBay.org.  They have doubled their weekly meals distributed from 1 million meals to 2 million, establishing six weekly mega pantries serving nearly 10,000 families each week and converting their mobile pantries to a drive-thru model for increased distribution and safety.  Message from "Rosie" on the organization's site:  "I'm a full time caregiver to my husband, . . . . The food provided by Feeding Tampa Bay has helped us enormously.  The meals are well balanced . . . and taste great!  We really appreciate the help during this time."
Healing Thought # 60
“You are not just a mind that thinks. You are a unique and wonderful identity with an infinite mind, and you have the power to think what you want to think, and to react as you train yourself to react…. We affirm for ourselves, 'I am not what I think, but I am thinking what I think, and the self of me that thinks has the capacity to think positively. I decide right now that during the week to come I'm going to think the kind of thought that I want to see manifest'” (Eric Butterworth, Practical Metaphysics).
OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:

I AM A UNIQUE AND WONDERFUL THINKING CENTER WITHIN DIVINE MIND AND I HAVE THE POWER TO THINK WHAT I WANT TO THINK AND MANIFEST THE KIND OF THOUGHT I WANT TO SEE MANIFEST!
