Unity Construction Update:
We give thanks as we behold the stacks of concrete blocks recently placed on campus in preparation for the construction of new classroom buildings for the Discovery Academy!
Due to the appearance of long delays, inflation, and supply chain issues, the contractor is seeking to renegotiate the costs of UCC's building plans. We believe we have a binding agreement with them and are affirming together that nothing and no one can keep our good from us and our envisioned new building is already taking form in right timing and divine order.
We also give rich thanks for the steadfast faith of all whose loving gifts help to sustain our Church through this season of Thanksgiving. We deeply appreciate you! We are so glad to welcome eighty people and more to our Sunday services to enjoy the great music and empowering Unity messages offered here each week!
Love and light, Leddy and Russ and Everyone at UCC!

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - The Art of Receiving |
|
My life is in order and I am ready to receive my good.
I do not make excuses. I make ready.
My mind is now open, my heart is receptive to be healed and happy.
I am open to give love and to receive love, to love and to be loved. |
|
|
Last Sunday's Shining Words:
May we wish the best for everyone that we encounter. May we swallow pride and may we do away with fear. For it's only what we do not know that we have grown afraid of and only what we do not choose to hear.
May nothing ever come between or threaten to divide us. May we never take for granted all the gifts that we receive. Being ever mindful of the unseen hands that guide us. And the miracles that cause us to believe.
“I will not keep silent, . . . I will not remain quiet, till … vindication shines out like the dawn, … salvation like a blazing torch” (Is. 62:1, INT). “Let them praise the name of the Lord .... And he has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his faithful servants .... the people close to his heart” (Ps.148: 13-14).
May the light of love be shining deep within your spirit. May the torch of mercy clear the path and show the way. May the horn of plenty sound so everyone can hear it. May the light of love be with you every day. |

We don't have a mask mandate at UCC. In the meantime, we encourage vaccination for those who are eligible and we're grateful when folks kindly wear masks when near others indoors for now.
We look forward to reforming an exciting, magnetic Nursery and Pre-K and a fun, welcoming Fellowship gathering time in the beautiful new space when our new facility is ready. As always, we believe we will will all get through this together.

|
For now, let's do fist or elbow bumps and Namaste instead of hugs! |

WINGS Book Study Group with The Rev Cynthia Mackey |
|
Tuesdays
12:00 PM Zoom
WINGS is our daytime Truth Book Study Group and is led by our UCC Minister of Education, The Reverend Cynthia Mackey.
The group includes men and women and there's always great discussion!
Make new friends, share ideas and explore Unity teachings in a supportive, positive environment!
WINGS will begin an in-depth look study of Frances Foulks’ classic New Thought book, Effectual Prayer
Frances
W. Foulks takes the reader through eight steps of prayer–from what
makes prayer effectual to actually living in the consciousness of the
Christ.
This is a timeless book, so while writing style differs
from what the contemporary reader may expect, it is like remembering
your grandmother’s advice when faced with a current problem.
Rev.
Foulks’ observations are astonishingly simple but not simplistic. In
commenting on how we ourselves limit our capacity to receive an answer
to our prayers, she says: “The answer desired when the prayer is offered
may never be manifested, for as long as we are seeking things, our
desires change with the fashions, and there is no perfect pattern for
substance to follow.”
Join WINGS for this comprehensive class and learn how to pray effectually!
Attending the WINGS group can earn credit toward becoming a UCC Prayer Chaplain. Please check with Cynthia for more info.
All are welcome to join in!

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)
Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.
Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.
Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

Wednesday Evening "Faith Lift" Meditation Service |
|
Wednesdays 7:00 PM Livestream Only
Prayer is the foundation of the Unity movement and of Unity Church of Clearwater.
The Wednesday evening service features guided meditation, music, silence, and prayer.
Meditation
is the process of listening to the “still, small voice” of God within
us. Affirmative prayer is the highest form of creative thought and
includes the release of negative thinking as well as holding in mind
statements of spiritual Truth. The contemplative nature of entering into
the silence allows people of like mind to share the power of sitting in
the silence together.
We invite you to join us! This is an
opportunity to raise the consciousness of oneness that is at the core of
our Unity teachings.
Let us lift our consciousness to new heights through prayer and meditation, and help heal ourselves and our world!

The 17th Annual Robe Ceremony was a huge success. The ceremony was beautiful, and the weather was perfect for an outdoor event. Special thanks to the many volunteers who coordinated, led, and participated with ease and enthusiasm. Our deepest thanks to Bhante Dhammawansha and all the monks for their efforts and blessings. |

We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.
If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.
We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3&-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

"Practice giving, even though it may be in a small way. Give in a spirit of love and give when you cannot see any possibility of return. Put real substance into your gift by giving the substance of the heart . . . . Through the power of your word you can bless and spiritually multiply everything that you give. See yourself as the steward of God handing out His inexhaustible supplies. In this manner you are setting into action mental and spiritual forces that eventually bring large results into visibility. Be happy in your giving. God loves a cheerful giver because his mind and heart are open to the flow of the pure substance of Being that balances all things" (Charles Fillmore, Prosperity, Chapter 10). |
|
OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:
"I AM A CHEERFUL GIVER AND A JOYOUS RECEIVER! MY MIND AND HEART ARE OPEN TO GIVE AND RECEIVE GOD'S BLESSINGS!"
THANK YOU, GOD! |
