This Sunday: Sweeping Up My Own Side of the Street |
|
Lyrics from “Sweeping Up My Own Side of the Street” by Sue Riley & Melinda Wood Allen:
“Taking time to stop and smell the roses on the way, planting what I want to see, pruning what’s not serving me, tending my own garden every day.
I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. Every step I take just moves me closer to my dreams.
Your grass might be a brighter green. That’s for you, not for me. I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
Not gonna be the one to cast a stone. Won’t point a finger at your faults, got plenty of my own. ‘Cause, when I toss that judgment thing, it comes back like a boomerang.
I’m sweeping up my own side of the street, clearing out the clutter, pulling up the weeds, finding out it’s quite enough just taking care of my own stuff, sweeping up my own side of the street.” |

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)
Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.
Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.
Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

Message from Sue about The 12 Powers Club
|
|
You are probably wondering why Leddy and I are decked out in matching scarves.
Well, we’ve been invited to be part of a very exciting project spearheaded by Kim-Char Meredith called The 12 Powers Club.
Launched on July 1, this “members only” club is full of content on the 12 powers as created by Unity Cofounder, Charles Fillmore.
Leddy and I have created video segments for each of the 12 women (12 powers interpreted through the Divine Feminine) and I can’t believe how much fun we had doing this!
You are going to love it! And there’s more, much more!
There are many other guest presenters, music, resources for kids, interviews, etc. all on the themes of an intuitive interpretation of the spiritual faculties of humankind.
If you’re like me, you are still finding your way after this past challenging year and what better way than to Power up! I felt better just creating it, so I can’t wait to view all of the other amazing content.
Best of all, you can choose who to gift back ½ of the membership fee. So, you can become more empowered and benefit Unity Church of Clearwater at the same time!

We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.
If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.
We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3&-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

UCC Contributes Monthly to Feeding Tampa Bay
|
|
UCC continues to contribute to FeedingTampaBay.org. They have doubled their weekly meals distributed from 1 million meals to 2 million, establishing six weekly mega pantries serving nearly 10,000 families each week and converting their mobile pantries to a drive-thru model for increased distribution and safety. Message from "Rosie" on the organization's site: "I'm a full time caregiver to my husband, . . . . The food provided by Feeding Tampa Bay has helped us enormously. The meals are well balanced . . . and taste great! We really appreciate the help during this time." |

“I deny out of consciousness old error thoughts, as if I were gently sweeping away cobwebs, and I affirm positively and fearlessly that I am a child of God, and that my inheritance is from Him. As I follow this rule, I find that I am letting go of old mortal beliefs ... with a delightful spirit of wisdom, dignity, and peace. I realize more and more the law of righteous thinking that is bringing me into a consciousness of my perfect dominion …. I overcome [negative thoughts] by a quiet but positive denial made in the realization that no error has any power or reality in itself. I turn away from the belief in negation, and my thinking changes. I rid my consciousness of limited thoughts that have encumbered … my understanding” (Charles Fillmore, Keep a True Lent). |

OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:
“ENERGIZED BY DIVINE LOVE, I FOCUS ON CLEANSING MY OWN CONSCIOUSNESS AND SWEEPING UP MY OWN SIDE OF THE STREET!”
THANK YOU, GOD! |
