This Sunday @ UCC:
Lesson Title: Still Yourself
Inspired by lyrics to “Still Yourself” by Richard Mekdeci:

“Your path is true. There’s a guiding light that shines inside of you.”

“Still yourself. Still yourself. In the silence you will find your way.”

“Still yourself. Still yourself. Still yourself and heal yourself.
The strength you seek is just a breath away.”

“Strength flows from stillness like a fountain,
Like a mountain against the sky.” I am still and I am strong.
Office Hours this Week

Annual Robe Offering Day
Sat, Dec 1
10:00 AM
Peace Chapel

The yearly robe offering ceremony is a time of giving, for the laity to express gratitude to Buddhist monks.

Please join us again to show appreciation to the monastics who tirelessly provide the community with excellent guidance throughout the year.
There will be several ways to participate:

You may choose to take your vows and receive a spiritual name
You may show your support by donating household items needed
Robes can be reserved and offered to the monastics in the name of loved one or a favorite cause.
During the ceremony there will be:
  • Alms Round
  • International Vegetarian Lunch
  • Five Precepts Ceremony
  • Dhamma Talk
  • Robe Offering to Monastics
  • Chanting for World Peace
If you would like to purchase a robe in honor of a family member, we will have more

The international vegetarian lunch will be provided by The Dhamma Wheel Meditation Society.

A $10 donation is requested in appreciation for the ceremony and lunch.

UCC Service Saturday volunteers are invited to have lunch as Dhamma Wheel's guests, though any love offerings are appreciated.

No one is ever turned away because of finances.

Thanks for the Kind Words!
This Beautiful letter was sent to UCC youth director Cynthia Mackey by Jessie Rivera after her daughter Tina received a bible award at a recent Sunday service.

Jessie we're so very grateful for your kind words, so we're sharing them below!

Often, we are born into this world with a family that has unconditionally loved us for longer than we have been alive. But, there are those who come into our lives because we were blessed enough to have walked the same path. It is these individuals that we call friends. They are the ones that we pick to share in our memories. The ones that we pick to share our thoughts with and the ones that we pick to be a part of our family. The ones we choose to let in, to love. Thanks to you, Ms. Jill and all of the Youth Ministry Members for being such an integral part of our lives.

Thank you again for your tremendous insight and patience in mentoring Tina. It is so clear that you have a gift for bringing out the very best in children. You have further boosted my daughter’s confidence. The joy and satisfaction that you bring to so many children and parents is staggering.

I knew my daughter had the best Spiritual teachers in the world when we were not able to come and she said ‘Mom I miss going to Church’ Thanks for making our child look forward to going to Church.

Tina is over the moon with her Bible and said we will have to read nightly. She will hold me to it. She brings discipline and structure to my life. She holds me accountable to my actions.

Thank you SO MUCH for going out of your way and I sincerely love and appreciate you!

Tina's Mom - Jessie
Make a Memory
Our Unity Prayer walk is for memories.

Located on the north side of the Sanctuary there are two walkways to the labyrinth. The walkways are laid with beautiful brick pavers that can be engraved in honor or remembrance of loved ones.

There is also a special walk, called the Rainbow Bridge, near Peace Pond for memorializing beloved pets.

Purchase an engraved brick to . . .

Honor a cherished moment in time
Memorialize that special someone in your life
Express your love
Honor a friend
Remember a beloved pet
Simply offer thanks

An engraved brick in Unity Church of Clearwater’s Prayer Walk is a beautiful expression of remembrance and your legacy here is LOVE!

A love offering of $75 is requested per brick.

Engraved Brick Order Form

We send in five orders at a time for engraved bricks for our prayer walkway. We have three orders on file; when orders for two more orders are placed, we can send in a complete order.

Thanks and blessings!

CLEARING UP INDEBTEDNESS

Charles Fillmore “points out how you can use this first affirmation in the 23d Psalm for clearing up indebtedness:

‘Do not yield to the temptation of ‘easy payment plans.’ Any payment that drains your pay envelope before you receive it is not an easy payment. Do not allow false pride to tempt you to put on a thousand-dollar front on a hundred-dollar salary. There may be times when you are tempted to miss paying a bill in order to indulge a desire for some thing. This easily leads one into the habit of putting off paying, which fastens the incubus of debt on people before they realize it. It is the innocent-appearing forerunner of the debt habit and debt thought that may rob you of peace contentment, freedom, integrity, and prosperity for years to come. The Divine Mind within you is much stronger than this desire mind of the body. Turn to it in a time like this, and affirm: ‘The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want’ this thing until it comes to me in divine order.’”

(Catherine Ponder in The Prospering Power of Love [Unity School of Christianity, 1966]
Your Weekly Prosperity Affirmation:

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD AND THE FULFILLMENT OF MY DESIRES COMES TO ME DEBT-FREE AND IN DIVINE ORDER.
