| | | To trust in my Good Shepherd as the One who knows the way, To follow without fearing – step by step and day by day, To be at peace with waiting, undisturbed by seeming lack, To journey through green pastures without ever looking back, To listen in the quiet to the One whose voice I know, To meet with what I’m going through as meant to help me grow, To know I’m wisely guided, even when I cannot see, To sense the Presence with me that’s forever watching me, To keep the calm that comes from being held by that strong arm, To rest in realizing I’m serene and safe from harm, To have the faith that, daily, from God’s table I am fed, To seek and find the manger where I am so gently led, To hear the voices singing in a glorious new birth, To share in God’s good will for all -- a stable peace on earth. ~ This is the Shepherd’s Way. Leddy's Lesson: - Still Christmas
|
|
The “house” is the consciousness where the Christ child is sheltered. Let Light shine all through the house.
The house of “David, Beloved of the Lord,” and “Jacob, the supplanter” is the consciousness that God loves me and through Him I overcome. Let Light shine all through the house. My house is my consciousness of Truth.
Let Light shine all through the house to light up my life.
Peace to this House Built on Love! Let Light shine all through this house to light the world! |

| MAGIC of the SEASON CHRISTMAS CONCERT Faith Rivera & special guest, Karyne Daniels Sat, Dec 19 9:00 PM (ET)LIVESTREAM at Facebook.com/FaithRiveraMusic My momma’s always wanted me to do a Christmas concert, so just for her especially with her health journey this year, and just for you, I’ve decided to do it!
Let’s set the vibe to welcome in the Christ child in all our hearts with uplifting, heart-opening songs about this special time of year.
My special guest is Karyne sharing sacred hula to add even more magic!
I know it won’t be the same this year. We’ll be missing those in-person hugs but I promise you there is something about being together even virtually through the music, the soundwaves, there is a connectivity & energy that I know will move your heart.

|
|
|
Thursdays
12:00 PM
Bring your lunch and let's get together and chat!
Board Member & President of Hospitality, Deb Larkin is hosting a weekly Zoom "Table Talk Thursday" call so we can see each others faces and hear each others voices.
Why Table Talk? Well, because that's one thing we miss during this time: sitting around a table in the café and talking together. The Table Talk will last about an hour. Feel free to drop in for a few minutes or spend the whole hour with us. Each week, Deb will have a new topic and you will have the opportunity to learn something new about each other and to share your thoughts. You can choose to participate or just listen in, whatever is comfortable for you. It will be a fun time for all as we enjoy our Unity community and navigate a new normal of virtual social distancing and spiritual closeness.

Folks are still asking: "What's the best way to send an offering to the Church?"
We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.
If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.
We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3&-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

“Christmas has become, to many folks, . . . putting up the tree, decorating up, putting on the lights, thinking of it as a place of honor in the home. . . . We had the beautiful Christmas tree . . . and we had the greatest Christmastime . . . . [Now, in this season of uncertainty], people pray. And if we listen, if we listen and hear the voice of Spirit within, the Lord shows unto us a tree. It can be, symbolically, the Christmas tree that you bring into your home, you decorate . . . . Let’s put ourselves back into Christmas. Let’s begin seeing with a Christmas perspective, beholding people in the light of divinity within them and from the light of divinity within ourselves . . . . Commit yourself, that during the days to come, you’ll create this tree of the mind, maybe symbolically a tree in the home, too, but by all means, create the tree of the mind . . . . your contribution to peace and love and harmony, everywhere. Then it can be said that we have kept Christmas” (Eric Butterworth, Unity of NYC). |
