I am safe and secure, for I know who I am: a beloved child of my infinitely rich and generous Father-Mother God.
I am secure and well-provided, for I know my treasure is in my mind, not in my things.
I am secure in all I do, for I know my oneness with the divine process.
I do not worry, for God takes care of me. I live my life from day to day as if God’s supportive substance were as inexhaustible and dependable as the air I breathe, which it most certainly is.
Even if the branch I am sitting on gives way, I am not afraid, for I remember that I have wings. |

| | | | Heart of the House - Sherry Dawkins
|
| Long-time member of UCC, Sherry Dawkins, executive assistant at Assurant, a Fortune 500 company in St. Petersburg, was born on Long Island but grew up in the hills of Virginia, swimming in the summers and skating in the winters on a nearby lake. She moved back to Long Island and went to high school there. A member of a musical family, she was active in chorus and chorale and still enjoys singing and playing guitar. Sherry’s father played piano and clarinet by ear; her grandmother, a classical pianist, went to Julliard, and nephew Keir Walton is a popular soloist in the Unity Music Ministry.
Raised Catholic, Sherry says that her spirituality evolved when she was young. She came to Florida in 1993, to Unity shortly thereafter, and has never looked back. She loves the values of the Unity church, and “Leddy has a style beyond compare,” she says, “she makes it look so easy, seamless…and she brings in the audience.”

“A Leap in Consciousness: Jean Gebser & the Integral World” Presenter: Jeremy D. Johnson
This talk will introduce the life and work of the poet, philosopher, and phenomenologist of consciousness, Jean Gebser. He is best known in the English-speaking world for The Ever-Present Origin (Ursprung und Gegenwart, 1953), in which he articulates the structures of consciousness underpinning pivotal shifts in human civilization. Together with the “Integral Yoga” of Sri Aurobindo, and the evolutionary spirituality of Jesuit theologian Teilhard de Chardin, Gebser’s work constitutes an emerging worldview of an “integral reality”, anticipating a global transformation of human consciousness and culture.
These transformations often coincide with the breakdown and crisis of old structures of thought and the creative resurgence of new, spiritual qualities in humanity. In this talk, participants will be guided through the major structural transformations across human history, experiencing how these qualities of consciousness exist within themselves. Multimedia examples will be provided in this “tour”, from the cave paintings of Chauvet to meticulous work of the medieval iconographers, to the paintings of Picasso, Kandinsky, and Dali and still more contemporary works in the vein of digital and “visionary” art. We will close with a discussion on the indications of integrality in our present world. Participants should bring a notepad or note-taking device.
About Jeremy D. Johnson, M.A. ---Jeremy is a writer, essayist, and editor. He is the founder of Nura Learning, a conscious media platform dedicated to transformational education. He is an editor for Revelore Press and contributing editor for Reality Sandwich magazine. He has written for publications such as OMNI, Disinfo, and Evolve and Ascend. Fascinated by the intersections of electronic media, depth psychology, and cultural studies, he received his MA from Goddard College in Consciousness Studies. Jeremy is the current president of the International Jean Gebser Society, an academic society that hosts annual conferences and aims to further integral pedagogy. He is currently working on his first book, Passages From Tomorrow, to be published by Rubedo Press.
