True prayer is a series of determined affirmations.
This prayer is “not a plea, a desperate call, with tears that fall on bended knee.
But, breathing out and breathing in, it's God in me that lives and breathes, my trusted Friend.
My life is a prayer that God is praying.” My true thoughts are words that God is saying.
In prayer, “I know, without a doubt, no need to fear. God's right here, within and without.
My life is a prayer that God is praying.” |

This group was created for those aspiring to live a more spiritual and creative life. We use Julia Cameron's Book: "The Artist's Way" as a roadmap to Higher Creativity.
Together we support each other as we discover, bring to light, face and resolve that which keeps us from our creative dreams.
We meet for 2 hours each meeting.
We will meet the first 2 weeks in June and biweekly afterwards as we work through the 12 chapters.
Nov 12th is a tentative end date depending on how well we progress through the material the first 2 meetings.

| | Mary MacKenzie Installed as UCC Prayer Chaplain
|
| | Longtime faithful Unity student and UCC member and Co-President of Leadership and Community Development of our Board of Directors, Mary MacKenzie has fulfilled all of our educational requirements and accepted the invitation of our Ministry Team to be installed on June 3 as a Prayer Chaplain for our grateful congregation. Mary was instrumental in designing and maintaining our butterfly garden and, in a spiritual sense, encourages us all to spread our wings as Truth students. She can often be found at our Welcome Table in the Cafe after services, helping to make newcomers feel at home. God bless you, sweet Mary!

| | | A DECREASE IN INCOME CAN ACTUALLY MEAN AN INCREASE IN PROSPERITY
“Once when I was changing jobs, and for a period would receive a lower salary, the affirmation that helped me fill my financial “water jars” to the brim was: ‘I am always provided for, because I have faith in God as my omnipresent abundance.’ It was amazing how I seemed to have more, even though I was receiving a lower income for a time.
During this period, I was sometimes tempted to limit myself because of the lower income. The affirmation that helped me hold to the idea of unlimited supply was: ‘I have faith in God as my almighty resource and I trust God to preserve me in my prosperity.’ The result was that I did not have to lower my standard of living at all. Indeed, it seemed that I was preserved in my prosperity, regardless of what my checkbook indicated.”
