Jesus was not afraid to talk about money as a useful symbol of creative ideas. He taught that money does not measure my worth.
Money is made with a human image; I am made in God's image. I never worry about money, for God is my Source and in God I trust.
I am God's child and God always provides for me. I practice good stewardship and value money simply as a material symbol of God's unlimited supply. I draw my good to me.
What’s in your wallet? I have a rich prosperity consciousness! I serve God and money serves me.

This month's Heart of the House is a little different than usual. Leddy's dad, Unity minister Lowell Turner, was mentioned in the July/August edition of Unity Magazine. We thought you'd enjoy reading about the origin of the Peace Mural that's in our Peace Chapel in this adapted version of the article:
SWEET, PETITE PRAYER CHAPEL
Have you ever thought about prosperity in terms of peace? I seldom take the time to ponder the prosperous benefits my body receives whenever I enter into the Silence and become one with peace–unless, that is, I happen to find myself at the intersection of desperate and frazzled.
Luckily, Unity Village offers many places where taking a deep breath is encouraged. One such place I visited recently is the Peace Chapel, located just west of Fillmore Chapel on the north side of the Education Building. While many visitors to campus have no idea this tiny chapel exists, it’s open 24/7 for anyone who wants to spend a little time in quiet solitude. To get there, walk along the west side of the building (the side facing the tower). The chapel juts out of that side, its only entrance the exterior doors at the far end of the portico.

In latter part of the 1800s a remarkable confluence of people united to change the world of philosophy, art, science and religion. These people, Helena Blavatsky, Henry Olcott, and others gave to the world a timeless set of principles now called Theosophy or the Ageless Wisdom. They united the east and the west both in the printed word and geographically. Their words reverberate to us even today not only in books and articles, but by the changes that have come about in fields of philosophy art, science and religion.
Judith Snow, a long-time student of the Teachings, will introduce us to these people, expound on their teachings and present how their influence continuous to expand our universe even today.
Suggested Donation $5 to $10, Any and all Donations Accepted

[St. John – in the Book of Revelations – speaks of writing to the angels of seven “churches” (types of spiritual consciousness).]
“There are seven types of people you can reach by writing to their angels.
‘TO THE ANGEL OF THE CHURCH IN SARDIS WRITE. . . ’”
The word Sardis means ‘prince of power, timid, apprehensive, always fearful about something.’ These people are body devotees. They are afraid of drafts, accidents, what they eat. They are always seeking the comfortable, soft, pleasant things of bodily life. No books, lessons, or instructions seem to quench their fears, but writing to their angels uplifts the bold, brave, dauntless spirit in them, and they become ‘princes of power. . . .
Such a person has great potential for becoming a powerful individual. You awaken that power center within him and bring it alive through writing to his angel. This gives him a stability and fearlessness that he desires to express.
A man was once having difficulty trying to bring a business matter to a conclusion. It had been pending for a long time. Everyone involved was congenial and wished to conclude negotiations except one man, who kept changing his mind. He seemed unsure about every aspect of the matter.
The businessman heard of the angel-writing method and realized that the man who kept changing his mind was timid, apprehensive, fearful, unsure. He wrote to the man’s angel, asking that the business matter be brought to an early, appropriate conclusion, so that all involved would be satisfied and blessed.
A few days later, the man who had stalled for so long said, ‘Come down to my office tomorrow morning and the papers will be ready to sign.’ Then he added, as though it were his idea, ‘This situation has been delayed long enough, and I am anxious to conclude it.’”
