When My Moment Comes - Leddy Hammock & Sue Riley
This Sunday: - Mama Can Fix It
Inspired by Lyrics to “No Matter What” by Penny Nichols (adapted by LH):

Listen to Mother, no matter the reason, the hour of the night, the time or the season.

No matter what your trouble is, you can count on Her.
No matter what, She’ll be there for you. No matter what, She’s gonna care for you.

When the fain is fallin’ and your heart is heavy and you have forgotten who you were,
no matter what your trouble is, you can count on Her.

No matter if there’s so much noise that you can’t hear Her voice, She’ll be there for you.
No matter what your troubles were, you can count on Her.

Mama God can fix it!

If You Missed the Service on Sunday....
Sue's Habit's & Affirmations
Several folks have requested the "Habits & Affirmations" that The Rev Sue shared in her talk this past Sunday. Enjoy!

Here are a few of my new habits:
1. Healthy eating-I have time to cook. I’ve started opening those intriguing cookbooks on my shelf and trying out a few recipes
2. I’m taking Daily walks-watching a sunset-listening to the rain instead of turning up the TV to drown it out.
3. I am spending time each day practicing Meditation and deep breathing-Very Handy Tools:
4. I am working at keeping my mind sharp by doing things like crossword puzzles and reading books instead of watching TV. Using my imagination (another of the 12 Powers)
5. I am learning new things, things I never had time for, taking online lessons
6. I am Journaling. I started taking an online Creative Non Fiction course which comes complete with homework and expectations and I love it.
7. I am practicing gratitude. I am grateful for the beauty around me and I want to go out in it and experience it.
8. We all know that although fear can literally take your breath away, so can beauty.
9. I practice breath work. My Kundalini yoga practice has been online this year and involves a lot of breath work and chanting. Slowing down the breathing, focusing on the breath, resetting my mind, allowing stress to dissipate instead of becoming distress. In fact physical activity gives me tools to handle difficult times.

Affirmations:
1. While other people or pets can contribute to my happiness, they can’t create it. It’s an inside job. I am responsible for my own happiness.
2. Adapting a meditation practice is not about sitting still and planning my grocery list or thinking about what I plan to do tomorrow. I vow to remain present in the moment.
3. Mindfulness is not telling myself stories to make me feel better. I am open to the truth of my being every step of the way.
4. Becoming prepared for when my moment comes is not being annoyed that my dog needs a walk while I’m trying to focus on loftier things. I chose the dog; I must love the dog and all that comes with it. I am grateful for companionship in my life.
5. I want to be grateful for everything I’ve chosen to have in my life; my friends, my job, my surroundings. I choose, I love. I bless what I have chosen to do and treat the things and people that I love with care.
6. I allow myself time to unwind before going to sleep each night. I purposefully don’t watch disturbing TV shows or even the news before I go to sleep. Instead, I relax, do deep breathing, practice gratitude for another beautiful day. I am nurturing my body and soul with serenity.
7. I remember that It is the light that I long for, not the clouds that I care for. I am focused on the light of my being.

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)

Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.

Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.

Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

Each week, Deb will have a new topic and you will have the opportunity to learn something new about each other and to share your thoughts. You can choose to participate or just listen in, whatever is comfortable for you. It will be a fun time for all as we enjoy our Unity community and navigate a new normal of virtual social distancing and spiritual closeness.

Next week's movie will be "Under Capricorn" (1949) with Ingrid Bergman, Michael Wilding & Joseph Cotton

Under Capricorn is a 1949 British historical "thriller" film directed by Alfred Hitchcock about a couple in Australia who started out as lady and stable boy in Ireland, and who are now bound together by a horrible secret. The film is based on the play by John Colton and Margaret Linden, which in turn is based on the novel Under Capricorn (1937) by Helen Simpson. The screenplay was written by James Bridie from an adaptation by Hume Cronyn. This was Hitchcock's second film in Technicolor, and like the preceding color film Rope (1948), it also features 9 & 10 minute long takes.

Thank you!
How You Can Donate
We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.

The easiest option is our online donation form which can be found at: https://www.unityofclearwater.org/giving/

If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.

We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3&-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

UCC Contributes Monthly to Feeding Tampa Bay
UCC continues to contribute to FeedingTampaBay.org.  They have doubled their weekly meals distributed from 1 million meals to 2 million, establishing six weekly mega pantries serving nearly 10,000 families each week and converting their mobile pantries to a drive-thru model for increased distribution and safety.  Message from "Rosie" on the organization's site:  "I'm a full time caregiver to my husband, . . . . The food provided by Feeding Tampa Bay has helped us enormously.  The meals are well balanced . . . and taste great!  We really appreciate the help during this time."
Healing Thought # 58
"The Holy Spirit . . . is omnipresent . . . the Mother side of God . . . -- the divine love that never fails and that is equal to the drawing of souls to itself . . . . You too are the mother of Unity, because in your heart you have the same ideals, and the same great generous spirit, and the endless and tireless service, and the love that never fails!" (Myrtle Fillmore's Healing Letters).
OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:

"DIVINE LOVE NOW EXPRESSES THROUGH ME, NURTURING AND STRENGTHENING ME AND DRAWING TO ME LOVING SOULS WHO ALSO DESIRE TO EXPRESS THE UNIVERSAL MOTHER."
