Our building permit continues to move through the review process with the building department and we believe we should have their comments anytime now. We trust that any additional info they require will be minimal. Our contractor, Bill Botelho is working on securing bids so he can get right to work when the permit is issued.
Roadwork and clearing the church lot are continuing. Seeing progress each week!

We had a wonderful time attending the Dhamma Wheel annual robing ceremony this past Saturday. Quite a few UCC folks attended and enjoyed celebrating with our dear Buddhist neighbors.
Thanks to Rick Preston, Dennis Carney, Maria De Ree and Don Donahue for helping get the Dhamma Wheel back yard ready for the event and then removing and re-homing borrowed items afterward.
We all look forward to once again being able to host Dhamma Wheel's yearly events in our new building and trust that next year's robe ceremony will be there. |

Last Sunday's Shining Words:
Ruth said to Boaz: “May I prove worthy of your favor, my lord. You have comforted me. You have spoken to the heart of your servant[--and I am not even one of your servants!’” (Ruth 2:10-13).
I am more than God’s servant; I am God’s beloved child, worthy of all God’s blessings.

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)
Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.
Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.
Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

Wednesday Evening "Faith Lift" Meditation Service with The Rev Judy Tafelski
In Recess this Week
|
|
Wednesdays (in recess this week)
7:00 PM Livestream Only
Prayer is the foundation of the Unity movement and of Unity Church of Clearwater.
The Wednesday evening service features guided meditation, music, silence, and prayer.
Meditation
is the process of listening to the “still, small voice” of God within
us. Affirmative prayer is the highest form of creative thought and
includes the release of negative thinking as well as holding in mind
statements of spiritual Truth. The contemplative nature of entering into
the silence allows people of like mind to share the power of sitting in
the silence together.
We invite you to join us! This is an
opportunity to raise the consciousness of oneness that is at the core of
our Unity teachings.
Let us lift our consciousness to new heights through prayer and meditation, and help heal ourselves and our world!

We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.
Your gifts to Unity Church of Clearwater are tax deductible as allowed
by law. Our life-affirming work is supported by the loving and generous
offerings of friends like you. Please give as your grateful spirit
leads you. You can also support Unity Church of Clearwater by leaving a
legacy of prayer and hope in your will or estate plan. Right now,
right where you are, you are blessing this ministry through your loving
thoughts and you, also, are blessed.
If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.
We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

"You should expect prosperity when you keep the prosperity law. Therefore, be thankful for every blessing that you gain and as deeply grateful for every demonstration as for an unexpected treasure dropped into your lap. This will keep your heart fresh; for true thanksgiving may be likened to rain falling upon ready soil, refreshing it and increasing its productiveness .... Praise and thanksgiving impart the quickening spiritual power that produces growth and increase in all things" (Charles Fillmore, Prosperity, 1936). |

OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:
"I GIVE THANKS AS I PRAISE GOD, OUR EVER-ACCESSIBLE AND
UNLIMITED SOURCE OF ALL GOOD, EVER MANIFESTING THROUGHOUT OUR WORLD AS
PROSPERITY AND PEACE."
THANK YOU, GOD! |
