We don't have a mask mandate at UCC. However, because UCC is pro-children and pro-families, we are encouraging vaccination for those who are eligible and asking folks to wear masks when near others indoors.
We are pausing our Pre-K childcare and nursery for the time being, in the interest of safety and well-being for all. We will all get through this together. |

Message from Sue about The 12 Powers Club

You are probably wondering why Leddy and I are decked out in matching scarves.
Well, we’ve been invited to be part of a very exciting project spearheaded by Kim-Char Meredith called The 12 Powers Club.
Launched on July 1, this “members only” club is full of content on the 12 powers as created by Unity Cofounder, Charles Fillmore.
Leddy and I have created video segments for each of the 12 women (12 powers interpreted through the Divine Feminine) and I can’t believe how much fun we had doing this!
You are going to love it! And there’s more, much more!
There are many other guest presenters, music, resources for kids, interviews, etc. all on the themes of an intuitive interpretation of the spiritual faculties of humankind.
If you’re like me, you are still finding your way after this past challenging year and what better way than to Power up! I felt better just creating it, so I can’t wait to view all of the other amazing content.
Best of all, you can choose who to gift back ½ of the membership fee. So, you can become more empowered and benefit Unity Church of Clearwater at the same time!

We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.
If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.
We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3&-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

UCC Contributes Monthly to Feeding Tampa Bay
|
|
| UCC continues to contribute to FeedingTampaBay.org. They have doubled their weekly meals distributed from 1 million meals to 2 million, establishing six weekly mega pantries serving nearly 10,000 families each week and converting their mobile pantries to a drive-thru model for increased distribution and safety. Message from "Rosie" on the organization's site: "I'm a full time caregiver to my husband, . . . . The food provided by Feeding Tampa Bay has helped us enormously. The meals are well balanced . . . and taste great! We really appreciate the help during this time." |

“Practical Christianity ‘works’ because it shows us how to pray in a simple way that brings results: through the use of affirmative words followed by a meditative silence. A businessman said that the first time he ever attended a Unity church service and heard people saying their prayer statements out loud together, he was so startled that he almost left the service. But then he thought: ‘I know that the Unity philosophy has helped many, many people. So perhaps I should go all the way with it . . . .’ He began to join in saying the affirmative statements aloud with everyone else and then observing a meditative silence. Almost immediately desires of longstanding were fulfilled! As he continued to declare affirmative prayer statements aloud daily, vast improvement came quickly in his life. Why? Because the word affirm means ‘to make firm.’ When you speak forth good words in faith, you are making firm your good and you are opening the way for it to manifest in your life” (Catherine Ponder, Unity magazine, February, 1975 -“Practical Christianity -- It Works!”). |
