This Sunday @ UCC:
Lesson Title: It Came to Pass
Things are not as bad as they seem and I am stronger than I knew.
I call on God to help me, but it’s already done.
Everything God is, I am. The battle has been won.

Inside my own heart, I find hope and the courage to go on.
When I face my fears, I can see they are all just illusion.
I want to make the difference. I want to be the way.
And when I want to turn and run, I hear myself say:
“I am not weak. I am not helpless. I am not fear. I am not judgment.
I am whole. I am worthy. I am the way of God.”

Stretch your heart until it reaches – the way of God.
Every master teacher teaches – the way of God.
Because the only way to peace is – the way of God.

When the task before us seems too much to take,
let’s remember who we are. Then we take a breath and say,
“I am not weak. I am not helpless. I am not fear. I am not judgment.
I am whole. I am worthy. I am the way of God.”

Guided Meditation
2:00 - 3:00 PM

For more than three decades here, we have set aside a time of contemplation on Good Friday between noon and 3:00 PM - the hours when, according to the Gospels, Jesus spoke seven times from the cross in preparation for His great demonstration over death.

At 2:00 PM, seven votives shall have been lit, which will be extinguished, in turn, as we contemplate the profound spiritual meaning of each of the Master's seven last statements from the Cross.

Come, let us honor the Silence as we share in this powerful and transformative spiritual preparation for Easter.

April Heart of the House - Mary Haviland
In the 30 years since Mary Haviland first came to UCC, she has volunteered in the Café, at Express and Service Saturdays, benefited from the offerings of many classes and regularly attended the WINGS group and Wednesday evening Prayer and Meditation service. Now, she also serves as a new member of Unity’s Board of Directors.

Mary loves everything that Unity stands for and has derived immense satisfaction from participation in varied activities, not always for the book content, but also for the interaction with the Unity community and the many friendships formed. But, the gift that takes precedence as her most gratifying experience at UCC is having been able to see her children grow up in Unity. Both Brendan, 21, and Heather, 23, were very active in the youth ministry. Brendan, a junior at Stetson University, served as a Southeast Y.O.U. regional representative. A proud PIKE, he is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha, a fraternity dedicated to develop men of integrity, intellect and high moral character. Heather attends St. Petersburg College, where she interns in digital media and looks forward to a study abroad program in Japan. She is also lead cashier at Ulta Beauty.

YOUR MAGICAL MIND

“The Father has provided a universal seed substance that responds with magical power to the active mind of [humanity]. Faith in the increasing capacity of this seed substance . . . always rewards [us] with the fruits of [our] labor . . . .

When we understand and adjust our mind to the realm of kingdom where these rich ideas . . . exist we shall experience in our temporal affairs what is called ‘prosperity.’

. . . .What we need to realize above all else is that God has provided for the most minute needs of our daily life”

(Charles Fillmore, Cofounder of the Unity Movement in the Foreword of Prosperity, 1936)
Your Weekly Prosperity Affirmation:

“I AM THE BELOVED CHILD OF AN INFINITELY RICH FATHER-MOTHER GOD, WHO WANTS ME TO PROSPER NOW!”
