This Sunday @ UCC:
Lesson Title: Hallelujah Today
“The road is long but I will make it! That's who I am!

It's not the race, but how I'm running, not who I was, but who I'm becoming.
Steady on, I'll finish strong on this path. Hallelujah today!

With every mile I'm reminded that I never go empty-handed.

God is my strength. I'm never stranded. I'm not alone. Hallelujah today!

Calling out like a siren of good and peace and joy resounding!
Hear me now -- I'm ringing out around the world!” Hallelujah today!

In every song I sing, in every part of me, in everything -- Hallelujah!
Every breath in me proclaims, ‘Hallelujah today!’”

2:00 - 3:00 PM

For more than three decades here, we have set aside a time of contemplation on Good Friday between noon and 3:00 PM - the hours when, according to the Gospels, Jesus spoke seven times from the cross in preparation for His great demonstration over death.

At 2:00 PM, seven votives shall have been lit, which will be extinguished, in turn, as we contemplate the profound spiritual meaning of each of the Master's seven last statements from the Cross.

Come, let us honor the Silence as we share in this powerful and transformative spiritual preparation for Easter.

On Easter Sunday, a Continental Breakfast will be served on a love offering basis in our Café between 9:30 and 10:45 AM. The Cafe will close before our NEW WORSHIP SERVICE TIME (11 am), begins, so that our faithful volunteers can celebrate with their families after the service.

During our Worsip Service, our Youth Ministry and Nursery welcome children of all ages in our Youth Wing, starting with Assembly for school aged children in the Peace Chapel at 11 am.

Our Music Ministry will present awesome music during our Easter Ssunday service!

April Heart of the House - Mary Haviland
In the 30 years since Mary Haviland first came to UCC, she has volunteered in the Café, at Express and Service Saturdays, benefited from the offerings of many classes and regularly attended the WINGS group and Wednesday evening Prayer and Meditation service. Now, she also serves as a new member of Unity’s Board of Directors.

Mary loves everything that Unity stands for and has derived immense satisfaction from participation in varied activities, not always for the book content, but also for the interaction with the Unity community and the many friendships formed. But, the gift that takes precedence as her most gratifying experience at UCC is having been able to see her children grow up in Unity. Both Brendan, 21, and Heather, 23, were very active in the youth ministry. Brendan, a junior at Stetson University, served as a Southeast Y.O.U. regional representative. A proud PIKE, he is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha, a fraternity dedicated to develop men of integrity, intellect and high moral character. Heather attends St. Petersburg College, where she interns in digital media and looks forward to a study abroad program in Japan. She is also lead cashier at Ulta Beauty.

It’s time to prosper!

“Spiritual discernment reveals that we are now in the dawn of a new era, that the old methods of supply and support are fast passing away, and that new methods are waiting to be brought forth. In the coming commerce [we] will not be a slave to money. Humanity’s daily needs will be met in ways that are not now thought practical. We shall serve for the joy of serving, and prosperity will flow to us and through us in streams of plenty”

(Charles Fillmore, Cofounder of the Unity Movement in the Foreword of Prosperity, 1936)
