We
are so grateful that CBS & TBI have graciously welcomed us to

mornings, once they receive their certificate of occupancy.

We just got word from Principal Akbaba that he has reason to expect the partial certificate of occupancy for the Discovery Academy soon (by the end of April or early May) whereupon we should be able to open the gates of our former worship space & bring our Sunday services back to the campus. Watch our eNews for updates!
We look forward to the City’s green light for approval of our construction permits so we can begin to build our new Church home.
We will never forget the kindness of our dear neighbors at Congregation Beth Shalom, which has been such a welcoming House of Peace for Unity and at the lovely Temple B’nai Israel, who also have graciously hosted us, as well as the Unitarian Universalists of Clearwater on several occasions.
We'll be at TBI again this Easter Sunday.
The path has certainly been long & challenging, but we have held together & we’ll finish strong!
We are deeply grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition. We are glad to welcome new friends on Sundays!
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it! |

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - Hallelujah Today |
|
From lyrics to “Hallelujah Today!” by Denise Rosier:
With every mile, I’m reminded I never go empty-handed. God is my strength, I’m never stranded. I’m not alone. Every breath in me proclaims, Hallelujah today!
The road is long, but I will make it, that's who I am. It’s not the race but how I’m running, not who I was, who I’m becoming. Steady on, I’ll finish strong on this path.
Hear me now, I’m ringing out around the world! In every song I sing, in every part of me, in everything! Every breath in me proclaims, Hallelujah today! |

For over two decades, our beloved Tim has served the congregation at UCC as
Assistant Music Director and also served as weekly piano accompanist and
choir director at Temple Ahavat Shalom in Palm Harbor. It was our dear
Sue Riley, Minister of Music, who found Tim for us, as they had been in
a band together years ago.
Tim
helped to found “The Twilightz,” wonderful du-wop band initially formed
with Karen Erickson, Mary Elliott, and David Wallace, now including
also Mike Abdishi.
Tim
enjoys a varied career in music, reflected in his love for songwriting
and teaching piano. An academic beginning with an emphasis on music at
Louisiana State University, followed by a degree from Ashford University
with a major in social sciences, strengthened his preparation for
excellence in music teaching and performance for over a decade, as he
taught special needs students at Nina Harris and Paul B. Stephens
Exceptional Center.
Since
being interviewed for UCC’s newsletter, Reflections, several years ago,
Tim expanded his group music therapy work with senior communities and
is gratified with the positive effects that music has on memory care
residents.
He
released “Rain Sun Music,” a CD album featuring ten of his original
songs with themes of gratitude and love, and has been involved with many
music projects, including performances of his original music with One
City Choir.
In
2017, Tim met his life partner, Janet; they were married by our Sr.
Minister on the shores of St. Pete in 2023. Tim has been invited to
join the music ministry at the Unitarian Universalists of St.
Petersburg, very near to Tim and Janet’s charming Buttercup Cottage.
He
will be dearly missed at Unity, but we hope to see him with our
musicians when he can be with us. Tim will forever be with us in
Spirit! |

Dear Leddy,
I feel so grateful to be a part of Unity of Clearwater. I am so touched by the beautiful framed Irish Blessing and the sweet wishes from members of UCC!
It has been a great honor to be in the Music Ministry there. I see many beautiful things ahead for my dear Unity Church. Thank you to you and Russ for being wonderful friends all these years.
Love always, Tim |

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)
Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.
Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.
Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

About Unity's Winged Globe
|
|
|
|
|
We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.
Your gifts to Unity Church of Clearwater are tax deductible as allowed
by law. Our life-affirming work is supported by the loving and generous
offerings of friends like you. Please give as your grateful spirit
leads you. You can also support Unity Church of Clearwater by leaving a
legacy of prayer and hope in your will or estate plan. Right now,
right where you are, you are blessing this ministry through your loving
thoughts and you, also, are blessed.
If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.
We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

“I will strive to ride and master the unbroken, unbridled side of my nature that can be compared to the colt on which You rode with such majesty and humility…. I will hold the rein on willfulness. Let my will and persistence claim higher goals than worldly gain alone…. l would keep the faith, run the course, follow the light, as Your inward nature grants me to see the light. In acceptance let me be humble, in rejection undismayed, in all things steadfast” (Ernest Wilson, The Week that Changed the World, 1968). |
|
OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:
“THE ROAD IS LONG BUT I WILL MAKE IT, IT’S WHO I AM. IT'S NOT THE RACE BUT HOW I'M RUNNING, NOT WHO I WAS, WHO I'M BECOMING. STEADY ON, I'LL FINISH STRONG ON THIS PATH.”
THANK YOU, GOD! |
