| Unity Construction Update:
We
continue to affirm that the remodeling of the present building and
construction of the new classroom building by the Discovery Academy and
also the construction of our new Church home by Peace Pond are taking
form, as planned, for the highest good of all concerned.
Please
be with us in prayer as we work with Southcrest Developers
to facilitate the envisioned outcome. UCC's expert attorneys feel we
have a binding
agreement in place with Southcrest Developers to build our new facility
for the amount we were assured would provide our new facility according
to the plans that were mutually approved last Spring. We continue to
affirm that our good cannot be withheld from us and we envision our new
Church Home taking form during the bright New Year in divine order and
timing.
We
are deeply grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of
love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition.
We are so glad to welcome a growing congregation of
friends on Sunday mornings!
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it!
Praise God!
Love and light, Leddy and all our UCC Family!

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - Get Ready My Soul |
|
Lyrics to “Get Ready, My Soul” by Daniel Nahmod:
“Everything I’ve ever done, everything I’ve ever seen, everything I’ve lost or won, everything I’ve ever dreamed, has brought me here to the present moment, here, to a new beginning, here and I’m seeing life so clearly now.”
“‘Cause here I go, deeper, deeper, deeper than I’ve ever been before. Here I go, closer, closer, closer to my sacred Source. Here I go, deeper, deeper, deeper than I’ve ever been before. Here I go, close, closer, closer to my sacred Source.”
“Get ready, my soul. I’m divin’ in. Get ready, my soul. I’m divin’ in to the deepest kind of love, to the sweetest kind of life, Get ready, get ready, my soul. |
|
| Last Sunday's Shining Words:
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden” (Mt. 5:14). “I now release the limits of the past and let my light shine in this bright New Year. Peace begins with me in 2023!” |

We don't have a mask mandate at UCC. In the meantime, we encourage vaccination for those who are eligible and we're grateful when folks kindly wear masks when near others indoors for now.
We look forward to reforming an exciting, magnetic Nursery and Pre-K and a fun, welcoming Fellowship gathering time in the beautiful new space when our new facility is ready. As always, we believe we will will all get through this together.
|
| For now, let's do fist or elbow bumps and Namaste instead of hugs! |

WINGS Book Study Group with The Rev Cynthia Mackey |
|
Tuesdays
12:00 PM Zoom
WINGS is our daytime Truth Book Study Group and is led by our UCC Minister of Education, The Reverend Cynthia Mackey.
The group includes men and women and there's always great discussion!
Make new friends, share ideas and explore Unity teachings in a supportive, positive environment!
WINGS will begin an in-depth look study of Frances Foulks’ classic New Thought book, Effectual Prayer
Frances
W. Foulks takes the reader through eight steps of prayer–from what
makes prayer effectual to actually living in the consciousness of the
Christ.
This is a timeless book, so while writing style differs
from what the contemporary reader may expect, it is like remembering
your grandmother’s advice when faced with a current problem.
Rev.
Foulks’ observations are astonishingly simple but not simplistic. In
commenting on how we ourselves limit our capacity to receive an answer
to our prayers, she says: “The answer desired when the prayer is offered
may never be manifested, for as long as we are seeking things, our
desires change with the fashions, and there is no perfect pattern for
substance to follow.”
Join WINGS for this comprehensive class and learn how to pray effectually!
Attending the WINGS group can earn credit toward becoming a UCC Prayer Chaplain. Please check with Cynthia for more info.
All are welcome to join in!

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)
Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.
Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.
Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

Wednesday Evening "Faith Lift" Meditation Service with The Rev Judy Tafelski
|
|
Wednesdays
7:00 PM Livestream Only
Prayer is the foundation of the Unity movement and of Unity Church of Clearwater.
The Wednesday evening service features guided meditation, music, silence, and prayer.
Meditation
is the process of listening to the “still, small voice” of God within
us. Affirmative prayer is the highest form of creative thought and
includes the release of negative thinking as well as holding in mind
statements of spiritual Truth. The contemplative nature of entering into
the silence allows people of like mind to share the power of sitting in
the silence together.
We invite you to join us! This is an
opportunity to raise the consciousness of oneness that is at the core of
our Unity teachings.
Let us lift our consciousness to new heights through prayer and meditation, and help heal ourselves and our world!

We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.
If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.
We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3&-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

"No longer postpone your good until some other time, some other year, some other place. Give thanks that now is the time. No longer dream about the good that you want to see manifest in your life. Give thanks with faith and conviction that right now, this very moment, your good is at hand" (Eric Butterworth, 1977). |

OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:
"I AM FILLED WITH THE HEALTH AND HAPPINESS OF GOD. I AM A CHILD OF GOD, HEIR TO THE DIVINE GOOD, FILLED WITH GOD’S POWER AND WISDOM. THERE IS NO BETTER TIME FOR ME TO BEGIN TO BE PROSPEROUS AND SUCCESSFUL THAN RIGHT NOW."
THANK YOU, GOD! |
