HOLY WATER by LH, for Lent, 2021
O, Holy Spirit, here in the Silence, by the still waters, quiet I stay.
Now let my mind be as still as the waters—open, receptive to all that You say.
Let there be peace and light on the waters! Holy Water, how good it is!

As in the beginning, in sacred darkness, earth appears formless–no answer in sight.
Holy Spirit, breathe over the waters a Word like a wind song, “Let there be light!”
And there is Light now, Light on the water! Holy Water – how good it is!

O, Holy Spirit, gather the waters–waters above and waters below.
Summon the dry land to rise in the waters, quicken the green grass and seed trees to grow.
Let there be life, on earth, sky, and waters! Holy Water – how good it is!

O, Holy Spirit, our Hope in the desert, opening wells to mirror the sky.
Lower the vessel, filled to the brimming and offer refreshment to all who pass by.
Welcome the stranger, pour out the vessel! Holy Water – how good it is!

O, Holy Spirit, I wade in the water. My prayer has been answered as I realized
That You brought me here to reflect You like water, know that You love me, and I am baptized.
Oh, Holy Spirit, descend like a dove now! Holy Water – how good it is!

O, Holy Spirit, I’m here at Your calling—a guest at Your table, a banquet divine.
All who were thirsting are fed by Your service, to pour living water that sparkles like wine.
O, Holy Spirit, transform by Your presence! Holy Water – how good it is!
Leddy's Lesson this Sunday: - Forty Years by Faith
From Lyrics to “Look How Far You’ve Come” by Sue Riley:

“...Let's talk about the future, let's cool off with the rain.’ 'Cause, there's no way to change the past, take back a single word, undo what has been done.

Though you're not where you were heading, just look how far you've come.’ .... Could I have watched more sunsets, walked more winding roads, been sweeter, softer, kinder, embraced this life I chose?

So, I've made a few adjustments to my treasure map of dreams. I've found that being happy pretty much depends on me.

I can't go back and change one single thing from times gone past. But, each day I remind myself to treasure what I have. . . . Look how far I’ve come, look how far I’ve come!”
Unity Church of Clearwater is honored to have been invited to present a Celebration of Life for our longtime member, Shirley Young, beloved wife of Tom Young, on Saturday, February 5, by Zoom. Tom has graciously allowed us to print the link for all those who would like to view this loving celebration, designed especially in fond remembrance of
our dear Shirley.

Sunday Is Leddy's 40th Anniversary at UCC!
Welcome, Our Two Candidates to the Board!
Ed Marinacci
Pat Warren
I retired 2 years ago from a long satisfying career as a Project Manager/Facility Planner. Presently I am a dog walker. I just love my clients. They are fun and keep me in motion! I have 2 dogs of my own Millie and Hank. I enjoy being outdoors walking, hiking, biking and swimming. I'm really glad that I have made so many friends. I enjoy each and every one of them. Previously, I served one other full term and fulfilled the last year of an additional term, and now am delighted to be eligible to serve another term for my home Church!
Hello, I’m honored and excited to join the Board for another term. Unity has meant so much to my life and I look forward to joining the Board.
I’m retired from the City of Clearwater (32 years). After I retired from the City, I worked at Morton Plant Hospital in the Volunteer Office for 2 years and at the Information Desk for 1 year. I continue to volunteer for the hospital at an adult cancer survivor camp each year. I also volunteer at Church in the media loft and the Church Office. Since we can’t meet in person right now, I’m volunteering from home by promoting our online services and other events on social media sites. I love doing this and look forward to the day it’s safe to meet in person.
And Our New Ordinands!

How You Can Donate
Folks are still asking: "What's the best way to send an offering to the Church?"

We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.

The easiest option is our online donation form which can be found at: https://www.unityofclearwater.org/giving/

If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.

We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3&-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

UCC Contributes Monthly to Feeding Tampa Bay
UCC continues to contribute to FeedingTampaBay.org.  They have doubled their weekly meals distributed from 1 million meals to 2 million, establishing six weekly mega pantries serving nearly 10,000 families each week and converting their mobile pantries to a drive-thru model for increased distribution and safety.  Message from "Rosie" on the organization's site:  "I'm a full time caregiver to my husband, . . . . The food provided by Feeding Tampa Bay has helped us enormously.  The meals are well balanced . . . and taste great!  We really appreciate the help during this time."
Healing Thought # 48
“We just received from the Father some ideas that proved wonderfully helpful in our own family’ and then we shared them with others, and they too were helped. Since those of like faith are drawn together, we soon found ourselves in a little society, which was formed for the study of Truth and the practice of its ideas. . . . You may never have suspected it, but this Unity work is a dream that has been nurtured and built from the invisible to the concrete through love and devotion and good, hard work. . . . I am glad to offer you the testimony that we have proved that God can and will prosper the work that the Holy Spirit prompts. . . . But we have always had to launch right out on faith without visible evidences of the ultimate success. We know that God is in His work, and that it is the Spirit of God operative in a given service that provides whatever is required in the doing of that work.” – Myrtle Fillmore’s Healing Letters, pp. 15-16.
OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:

“UNIVERSAL PRINCIPLE OF RIGHT THOUGHT AND RIGHT APPLICATION FOR GUIDANCE, HEALING, ABUNDANCE, AND PEACE HAS NOT CHANGED SINCE JESUS WORKED THE DIVINE LAW. IT WORKS WHEN I WORK IT.”

THANK YOU, GOD!
