This Sunday @ UCC:
Lesson Title: Everything I Need
Inspired by lyrics to “Everything I Need” by Sloan Wainwright and Karen Drucker:

We have everything we need, for this place is filled with joy and grace to create a sacred space.

I have everything I need, for I have faith and I know that there's good in everyone. I have peace.

I open up my heart and let the love in. The gift that I receive is I have everything I need.

And now I know, when I let go, I can live complete and whole. I’ll shine my light that burns so bright through the darkest night. I have everything I need.

Congratulations Rob & Sue!
On December 12, Rob and Sue Hammock shared a renewal of wedding vows. Leddy was proud to officiate the informal gathering of family members.

Please express your congratulations next time you see them.
Make a Memory
Our Unity Prayer walk is for memories.

Located on the north side of the Sanctuary there are two walkways to the labyrinth. The walkways are laid with beautiful brick pavers that can be engraved in honor or remembrance of loved ones.

There is also a special walk, called the Rainbow Bridge, near Peace Pond for memorializing beloved pets.

Purchase an engraved brick to . . .

Honor a cherished moment in time
Memorialize that special someone in your life
Express your love
Honor a friend
Remember a beloved pet
Simply offer thanks

An engraved brick in Unity Church of Clearwater’s Prayer Walk is a beautiful expression of remembrance and your legacy here is LOVE!

A love offering of $75 is requested per brick.

Engraved Brick Order Form

We send in five orders at a time for engraved bricks for our prayer walkway. We have three orders on file; when orders for two more orders are placed, we can send in a complete order.

Thanks and blessings!

THE GIFT OF MYRRH

“Jesus Christ was the Master Teacher of prosperity. His entire life demonstrated His interest in the subject. Even at His birth the Wise Men [Magi] from the East blessed Him with gold, frankincense, and myrrh. These rich gifts symbolized the rich attitudes that we all have to give and receive.

Gold is a precious metal, symbolic of prosperity and plenty . . . .

Frankincense . . . produces a pleasant aroma, a pleasant atmosphere . . . .

Myrrh is a gum that is used to make incense, perfume, and medicine. Though myrrh is bitter, it has the power to produce sweet, harmonious, healing results. Harmonious attitudes help you to turn the bitter to the sweet.

A . . . newspaper reporter desired to use Truth ideas in her job. Since she was a reporter on the ‘courthouse beat,’ it was her job to report the various experiences that lead people into court. It seemed a very negative assignment. A teacher suggested that she begin giving the myrrh that the wise Men offered the Christ Child, by establishing harmonious attitudes toward her work and those about whom she wrote, thereby turning the bitter into the sweet.

It was suggested to this reporter that every time she had to write a story about a seemingly negative court case, she should realize that the people involved were subconsciously seeking spiritual blessing, and that in reality they were seeking their good and had somehow gotten off the track. She was also assured that her silent prayers and blessings for them would reach them subconsciously, and that they would be soothed and helped thereby. The prayer she used for these people was: ‘You are now healed, whole, harmonious, in the name of Jesus Christ.’ Whenever the events she had to write about seemed to depress or upset her, she would affirm for herself: ‘I am now healed, whole, harmonious, in the name of Jesus Christ.’”
