Lesson Title: Draw Us Together

I am not here by accident. I am here in this place by divine appointment.
Since God is everywhere equally present, whenever I turn my attention to the presence of the Good, I dwell in the House of the Lord.
Wherever I am–either alone or gathered with others in prayer– my heart is in a holy place.
In Genesis, we read that Jacob fell asleep, alone in the wilderness; when he awoke, he declared: “Surely the LORD is in this place and I knew it not” (Genesis 28:16, King James Version).
Wherever I am, wherever I journey, I can always pause and pray.
I feel instantly safe and divinely guided as I affirm: “Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place!” |

The Always Interesting, Worth Being Late for Lunch, I Wish I Would Have Attended in Years Past, Really Very Important Annual Business Meeting :-)
Each year we hold a membership meeting to discuss the past year’s performance and stewardship, to honor outgoing Board Members and to welcome new ones, and to share plans for the coming year. At this meeting, we will have the opportunity to empower our new Board of Directors to follow through on an exciting new proposal, according to prayerful consideration and in right timing.
The meeting won’t take too long and good attendance is important for a successful meeting! |

Peace of Mind in 4 Easy Steps!
Objectives: The positive experience of personal transformation for every participant who wants it.
Content: Not just academic. Real personal experience
Participants will work with the “Happiness Paradigm” and use methods to apply it to daily life.
Some videos and discussion, but mostly large and small gruop personal sharing, and practice with new methods.
Lots of warmth, sharing, and interaction
Requirements: Attendance at all four sessions and awareness homework.
Fee: There’s no charge, but it’s important that you attend all four sessions.
We ask an “attendance bond” of $50.00 which will be returned in full at the last gathering if you’ve been to them all.

“Let the change come! Say, ‘I fear no evil, for Thou art with me.’ Change is good, healthy, necessary. But it can be uncomfortable and frightening when we are going through it, unless we remember to affirm, ‘I fear no evil, for Thou art with me.”
The Psalmist went further: ‘Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.’ The shepherd’s rod was a branch cut from a bush or t4ree, used for chastising the sheep when they tried to stray. The rod kept them in line. The shepherd carried a staff as a symbol of rank, power, authority, strength.
The rod and staff are symbols of discipline. When you are making progress on any level of life, change comes. As it does, you must discipline yourself in order to receive the good, the blessing, from that change.”
