This Sunday @ UCC:
Lesson Title: Don't Worry, Dad
Blessed is the perfectly unconditional love of the infinite Father that accepts us all, always.

Blessed is the patient love of the Father, Who loves us enough to let us go our own way and waits for us to come to ourselves.

Blessed is the love of the All-Knowing Father, Who does not worry about us, but trusts in our spiritual nature.

Blessed is the empowering love of the Father, Who knows that when the rain starts falling and the thunder rolls in and the water starts rising, we will weather the storm, and, no matter what, we are going to be all right.
Magie is this month's UCC Heart of the House. Read more about her below. You won't want to miss seeing her and hearing her absolutely amazing story this coming Sunday!

Peace COTTAGE

This group was created for those aspiring to live a more spiritual and creative life. We use Julia Cameron's Book: "The Artist's Way" as a roadmap to Higher Creativity.

Together we support each other as we discover, bring to light, face and resolve that which keeps us from our creative dreams.

We meet for 2 hours each meeting.

We will meet the first 2 weeks in June and biweekly afterwards as we work through the 12 chapters.

Nov 12th is a tentative end date depending on how well we progress through the material the first 2 meetings.

Heart of the House - Maggie Cook
On June 17 (Father’s Day), we are honored to present guest speaker, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and ordained Unity Minister, Maria Magdalena De la Cruz Cook Garcia (Maggie).  Maggie is the creator of Maggie’s Award winning All-Natural Fresh Salsa’s and Dips, a food manufacturing company that distributes its organic products across the country.  Maggie was born and raised in an orphanage in the mountains of central Mexico along with seven biological siblings. Her parents cared for over two hundred abandoned and abused children, legally adopting over sixty children over time.

Maggie and her siblings were raised in poverty, often struggling for basic necessities of life, including shelter, food, clothing, shoes, and medical care.   Many of the children had endured terrible abuse before coming to the orphanage.  In her book, Mindful Success – How to Use Your Mind to Transform Your Life: from Orphanage to Millionaire, Maggie tells of personal demonstration of the prosperity principles she learned and applied in her life that made her a success, journeying from being raised in poverty in Mexico to being homeless in winter in the streets of America, to starting a business with a gift of $800 from a stranger, to becoming a multimillion dollar success.  Her life story is one of meeting both high hopes and deep disappointments. Against all seeming odds, she learned to speak and write English; she earned three academic scholarship, as well as scholarships in three sports:  basketball, soccer, and rowing!  Maggie graduated with medals, championships, and awards, plus a degree in interior design from the University of Charleston in 2002.  Then, she was ordained as a Unity Minister at Renaissance Unity in Warren, Michigan and has settled in Clearwater with her husband, Owen Cook.

FOR ALL YOU DO FOR UCC, WE THANK YOU! BLESS YOU!
The rich gifts of love and substance -- regardless of the amount -- that you so generously give during the offertory at Sunday services, and that you place in the offering baskets in the cafe in appreciation for classes or the abundant buffet served there, or that you mail to the Church or donate online, and the countless hours you give in loving service on Service Saturdays, Express Saturdays, and throughout the week, all sustain this ministry.  Your presence and prayer consciousness hold our Church in LOVE!
Mary MacKenzie Installed as UCC Prayer Chaplain
Longtime faithful Unity student and UCC member and Co-President of Leadership and Community Development of our Board of Directors, Mary MacKenzie has fulfilled all of our educational requirements and accepted the invitation of our Ministry Team to be installed on June 3 as a Prayer Chaplain for our grateful congregation.  Mary was instrumental in designing and maintaining our butterfly garden and, in a spiritual sense, encourages us all to spread our wings as Truth students.  She can often be found at our Welcome Table in the Cafe after services, helping to make newcomers feel at home.  God bless you, sweet Mary!

WHEN ONE DOOR CLOSES . . . .

“. . . When all the usual channels of supply closed to me and I was not sure where my new supply was to come from, the affirmation I used was: ‘I trust the universal Spirit of prosperity in all my affairs. I trust the universal Spirit of prosperity to provide richly for me now!’ My supply
began to appear from near and far, through people and channels I had never before known.”
