We
are so grateful that CBS & TBI have graciously welcomed us to
present our Sunday services there. Meantime, the Discovery Academy has
remodeled our former sanctuary and will welcome us to use it on Sunday
mornings, once they receive their certificate of occupancy.

At last, we are seeing the last few items on our building permit before the City for approval. This week, our Contractor, Bill Botelho, applied for our construction fencing permit, which is the first step in our project.
It appears that the Discovery Academy of Science is nearing approval for its temporary certificate of occupancy. If the space of our former worship area can be cleared in time, we may be able to hold our services in our former worship space on the campus at Nursery Road on Sunday, July 7. (The address of 2465 has now been reassigned for the School as 2433 Nursery Road.)
Principal Akbaba is really doing all he can to facilitate our welcome back to our former worship space and we are thankful for his help.
We'll keep you posted as to our progress!
The path has certainly been long & challenging, but we have held together & we’ll finish strong!
We are deeply grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition. We are glad to welcome new friends on Sundays!
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it! |

When you hear a voice, no one else can hear, yet it's clear and loud, ringing in your ear.
And you finally know, what it's time to do, that's your true calling, calling you.
When your heart's wide open 'cause your mind's been changed and the dreams you dream are not the same, there's a gate that's open,
you can walk right through. That's your true calling, calling you.
You ask yourself, “Is this a voice I can trust?” You think you can't, but you know that you must. You're afraid you'll fall, if you let go. But, there's only one way you'll ever know.
Those wings you keep folded are meant to be used when your true calling is calling you.
You ask yourself, Am I asking too much? You think you can't, but you know that you must.

WINGS is our daytime Truth Book Study Group and is led by our UCC Minister of Education, The Reverend Cynthia Mackey.
The group includes men and women and there's always great discussion!
Make new friends, share ideas and explore Unity teachings in a supportive, positive environment!
WINGS will begin a new book study after the Summer recess.
Attending the WINGS group can earn credit toward becoming a UCC Prayer Chaplain. Please check with Cynthia for more info.

We invite you to join us for a half hour of contemplative guided prayer time. The service is live streamed to our Facebook page so no need to log in to Zoom. You will not be on camera and can use this quiet time to observe or just listen to this peaceful meditation. Prayer brings beautiful changes.

Why Table Talk? Well, because that's one thing we miss during this time: sitting around a table in the café and talking together. The Table Talk will last about an hour. Feel free to drop in for a few minutes or spend the whole hour with us.

and longtime Bible students are enjoying this insightful class, an
excellent adventure in allegorical Bible study, team-taught by
longtime friends, retired Reform Rabbi, Arthur Baseman and our Sr.
Minister, Leddy Hammock, sharing
insights into Hebrew Studies and Unity allegorical Bible
interpretation. It's awesome to see how these paths intertwine to teach
Truth!
Walk with these two longtime friends and colleagues who
are also longtime Bible scholars through intriguing stories in the Torah
with insights from the Gospels as well.
You
can just listen or you can also ask questions and join in the
discussion during this unique, rich, and fulfilling exploration.
Bring your favorite Bible version. Be ready to expand your understanding of scripture!
