Subject: UCC News - Not Lost - Weekly Affirmation

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when enslaved people
in Galveston, Texas, learned they had been freed. It is high time,
now, that we celebrate the emancipation to which every soul is heir.

We are together in this long journey of learning to live up to our high
ideals, affirming in mind, heart, words and hands, that all people –
regardless of age, nationality, or ethnicity, peacefully choosing to
express themselves as male or female – have inherent dignity and
value. We welcome all people, everywhere, as God’s beloved children.

His Banner Over Me Is Love “Wings of Song” (#323,Unity hymnal).

“The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want ….
He sits me down at a banquet table ….
His rod and staff, they comfort me ….
I’ll dwell in the house of the Lord forever,
His banner over me is love”
(traditional Gospel song).

Construction Update
We continue to wait for the last few items on our building permit to be approved.  The only items left are site related issues and it is our understanding that the school's contractor will complete the remaining items shortly. Once those items are finally passed, our permit will be green lighted by the city.

The path has certainly been long & challenging, but we have held together & we’ll finish strong!

We are deeply grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition.  We are glad to welcome new friends on Sundays!

Our beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and divine timing and we are ready to receive it!
This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - Not Lost
As we shared our "Prayer for Protection" on Sunday, we all turned to get our picture taken, all of us seeing Dave Burton and all other loved ones in God's healing light.
This Coming Sunday's Lesson Highlights:

Lyrics to “I Am Not Lost, I’m Exploring” by Jana Stanfield:

“I walked a mile with sorrow, I walked a mile with joy,
And now I'm less afraid of either one.”

“I'm not lost, I am exploring. Life is an adventure worth enjoying.
Though I may not know where I'm going, I am not lost, I am exploring.”

“Some like me are seekers, we take less traveled roads,
Believing we can find a better way.
And though I may get discouraged, I won't be turning back
I have joy as my compass and faith as my map.”

“All of us are headed for the same destination,
So why not blaze a trail that's got imagination?
I'm not lost, I am exploring. Life is an adventure worth enjoying.
Though I may not know where I'm going, I am not lost, I am exploring.”
Last Sunday's Shining Words:

“Like rain falling gently upon fallow ground. I felt the fields of my heart turn green on those few small words my father said to me.” “God did hear and listened to my voice in prayer”
(Psalm 17:20).

In my heart, I hear my Father say that He loves me.

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)

Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.

Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.

Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

We invite you to join us for a half hour of contemplative guided prayer time. The service is live streamed to our Facebook page so no need to log in to Zoom. You will not be on camera and can use this quiet time to observe or just listen to this peaceful meditation. Prayer brings beautiful changes.

How You Can Donate
We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.

Your gifts to Unity Church of Clearwater are tax deductible as allowed by law.  Our life-affirming work is supported by the loving and generous offerings of friends like you.  Please give as your grateful spirit leads you.  You can also support Unity Church of Clearwater by leaving a legacy of prayer and hope in your will or estate plan.  Right now, right where you are, you are blessing this ministry through your loving thoughts and you, also, are blessed.

The easiest option is our online donation form which can be found at: https://www.unityofclearwater.org/giving/

If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.

We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

Donate by Text! It's Super Easy!

Healing Thought # 221
"We find or become aware of God through the use of our faculties of thinking and feeling when they are directed Godward. God is not lost but we often lose awareness of Him in our human consciousness.... Each individual must make his [or her] approach to God at the center of his own being in the way that is right for him. No matter what approach to God an individual takes, he finds God by becoming consciously aware of Him through his thoughts and feelings for they bring him to the place in consciousness where he can say, 'I know!' for then he actually experiences the presence of God" (Lessons in Truth, Unity Annotations, Lesson 3).
OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:

"I AM NOT LOST. I AM EXPLORING. GOD IS NOT 'NOWHERE.' GOD IS NOW HERE."

THANK YOU, GOD!
