Service Saturday
Sat, June 2
9:00 AM
UCC Campus

We're sharing the morning and early afternoon with the Dhamma Wheel Meditation Society as we celebrate Vesak, the Buddha's 2562nd birthday!

Please come and lend a hand and at 10:30 join us in the Sanctuary for the festive ceremony.

There's a bit more info at the end of this email.

Special tasks that could be undertaken:

  • We could really use a hand after the "international" lunch that Dhamma Wheel is providing! Many hands make light work :-)
We start at 9:00 AM and later will enjoy a great lunch together after the Vesak celebration.

The $20 suggested offering is optional for our volunteers who are welcome as guests!

In addition to our usual, fellowship, cleaning, organizing, gardening, etc:

  • Cleaning windows
  • Refreshing bookstore displays
  • Tidying the shelves in the kitchen & pantry
  • Taking out recyclables
  • Cleaning the refrigerators
  • Cleaning up the "Unity Express" golf cart
  • Putting away supplies
  • Checking fluorescent lights
  • And lots more
You are most welcome to join us and we look forward to pouring lots of love in to our House Built on Love! You are the "Heart of the House!"

Service Saturdays are good times to build friendship and community by working and laughing together, taking care of our Church home and gratefully breaking bread together in the Café.

Click the RSVP button below to let us know you'll be able to join us!
This Sunday @ UCC:
4 All We're Worth
“A thousand stars across the sky unveil the universe, then vanish in the morning light that slips around the world.

Yet, you and I know they're up there, the way you know somebody dares to love you all the ways you most deserve.” “That’s love for all we’re worth, and faith--the heart--comes first.

And when we learn to let it in, it’s heaven here on earth, this love for all we’re worth.”

“Where past and future start and end, this very moment shines–a fire in the winter cold we treasure more than any gold and know what’s ours to touch is still Divine.

It’s love for all we’re worth. What starts and ends begins anew, it’s everything, it’s me and you . . . . It’s love for all we’re worth.”

“That's love for all we’re worth, and faith–the heart–comes first. And when we learn to let it in, it’s heaven here on earth, this love for all we’re worth.”
