Hi all,
Looks like it might be a wet Saturday, so why not hang out at UCC where it's cool & dry! Visitors are always amazed when they see how beautiful and clean our volunteers keep the church.
Of course, coffee and donuts will be ready for you when you arrive :-)

If you aren't familiar with Express
Saturday, it's our bi-weekly opportunity to come together and make
the church shine. We give the building a good cleaning from top to
bottom and some folks like to do a little gardening during that time.
We also make time to socialize, because maintaining our Church means not
only "housekeeping," for also friendly "home-making."
It's a great way to make friends and
feel the wonderful satisfaction that comes from working together in the
House Built on Love!
We also have opportunities for those that prefer to work outside!

When my best thinking has gotten me into my worst situations, the only way I can change my life is by changing my thinking.
To turn a negative experience around, I forgive, I listen with my heart, and I turn my thoughts in a positive direction.
I wake up from self-limiting thought. I bless and give thanks, as I take a new direction toward the ceaseless flow of my own good.
I stop resisting my inner guidance and I take a “right turn,” even if it means kicking and screaming down the path of transformation. |
