We'll be meeting in our former Sanctuary beginning Sunday, August 4th!
What an amazing adventure we've been having! These past few weeks, after all had been assured that the requirements for the School's certificate of occupancy (allowing classes to open and permitting UCC to return to worship in our former sanctuary) had been met, a few more issues surfaced that the City required be addressed before the c.o. could be granted.
At the same time, we realized that our neighbors at both Congregation Beth Shalom and Temple B'nai Israel and at the UU Church of Clearwater had to dedicate their spaces to their youth ministry programs in August.
This Sunday is July 28, the last Sunday we could be hosted. Yikes! So, we spent the last two weeks walking by faith, not by sight, and even chose a lesson title for August 4th of "This Place," trusting we'd get to be in our old Sanctuary space while our new Church Home would be built. It didn't look likely until just now!
We waited to get the word of the certificate of occupancy before sending out our eNews this week and that just became a reality this afternoon. Yes! Please attend in person or by zoom to hear the story of how just a little faith got us here! One day at a time! The path has certainly been long & challenging, but we have held together & we’ll finish strong!
We are deeply grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition. We are glad to welcome old friends and new friends on Sundays on our home campus.
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it! |

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - Just a Little Faith
|
|
Lyrics from “Just a Little Faith” by Richard Mekdeci:
Everywhere I look, I see endless possibilities and I know all I need is just a little faith.
Just a little faith when the storms of life are blowing, Just a little faith will get you where you're going.
Ask and know that you'll receive, act as if you do believe. Don't give doubt a chance to call. You can really have it all.
Just a little faith, when the storms of life are blowing, Just a little faith will get you where you're going.
All we really need is just a little faith.
*Pic above is Leddy with her granddaughter, Madeline and Madeline's husband Austin. We were blessed to have them with us this past Sunday.

Last Sunday's Shining Words:
Joseph said, “That Pharaoh had the same dream twice means that the matter has been confirmed by God and that God will soon bring it about .... God meant it for good’” (Gen. 41:25 - 50:20). “I dreamed of rain and the rains came, and peace spread over the land.” |

About Unity's Winged Globe

|
|
|
We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.
Your gifts to Unity Church of Clearwater are tax deductible as allowed
by law. Our life-affirming work is supported by the loving and generous
offerings of friends like you. Please give as your grateful spirit
leads you. You can also support Unity Church of Clearwater by leaving a
legacy of prayer and hope in your will or estate plan. Right now,
right where you are, you are blessing this ministry through your loving
thoughts and you, also, are blessed.
If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.
We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

Jesus said: "Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I liken it? It is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his own garden; and it grew, and became a tree; and the birds of the heaven lodged in the branches thereof" (Lk. 13:18). It is a great mystery how these comparisons of heaven ever came to be construed as referring in any way to a locality in the skies. What relation to a city with streets of gold has a mustard seed, planted in the earth and springing forth into a tree? …. [The kingdom of heaven exists] in the depths of [our] own unrevealed consciousness” (Charles Fillmore, Dynamics for Living). |
|
OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:
“JUST A LITTLE FAITH--EVEN AS SMALL AS A MUSTARD SEED--RIGHTLY DIRECTED, MULTIPLIES HEAVENLY RESULTS IN MY LIFE.”
THANK YOU, GOD! |
