Faith to Go on - Leddy Hammock
(lyrics by Jana Stanfield):

“Increase my faith, in the things I cannot see -- the things I cannot prove, yet I choose to believe.”

“When I’m losing my way, it’s these words I pray: Oh, increase my faith, increase my faith.”

“Open my mind, to the things I need to know, thoughts I need to hold, and the ones I can let go.”

“When I’m losing my way, it’s these words I pray: Oh, increase my faith, increase my faith.”

Presentation: Celebrating Satchmo-The Life of Louis Armstrong
Sun, Nov 13
12:00 PM
Peace Chapel

From poverty that provoked him to find ways to make money when he was only six, to one of the most celebrated entertainers in history, Louis Armstrong, Dippermouth, Pops, Little Louis, Satchmo…by any name, his popularity was immense and international.

Because Louis Armstrong's talent crossed racial barriers, borders, and genres, people throughout the world loved Satchmo -- and for good reason!  His achievements were unprecedented. He was the first Black American to gain sponsorship for national radio broadcasts, one of the first artists to record scat singing, and among the first Black performers featured in major movies. His courageous stand for civil rights helped end segregation laws.

Let’s celebrate his incredible life. His story will inspire you and his music will move you with its celebration of life.
This must see presentation is presented by award winning writer and motivational speaker, Vernon Howell

All are welcome to share this inspiring story.
