Hey everybody.
It's going to be a beautiful day for Express Saturday, and we give thanks in advance for all of our wonderful helpers!
|
|
If you aren't familiar with Express
Saturday, it's our bi-weekly opportunity to come together and make
the church shine. We give the building a good cleaning from top to
bottom and some folks like to do a little gardening during that time.
We also make time to socialize, because maintaining our Church means not
only "housekeeping," for also friendly "home-making."
It's a great way to make friends and
feel the wonderful satisfaction that comes from working together in the
House Built on Love!
We also have opportunities for those that prefer to work outside!
Whether you can be with us or not, have a safe, peaceful, and prosperous weekend! |

This Sunday @ UCC: This Place - Leddy Hammock
|
|
I am not here by accident. I am here in this place by divine appointment.
Since
God is everywhere equally present, whenever I turn my attention to the
presence of the Good, I dwell in the House of the Lord.
Wherever I am–either alone or gathered with others in prayer– my heart is in a holy place.
In
Genesis, we read that Jacob fell asleep, alone in the wilderness; when
he awoke, he declared: “Surely the LORD is in this place and I knew it
not” (Genesis 28:16, King James Version).
Wherever I am, wherever I journey, I can always pause and pray.
I feel instantly safe and divinely guided as I affirm: “Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place!” |

Always Interesting, Worth Being Late for Lunch, I Wish I Would Have
Attended in Years Past, Really Very Important Annual Business Meeting
:-)
Each year we hold a congregational meeting to discuss
the past year’s business, to learn about what to expect in the coming
year, and to honor outgoing board members and confirm new our new ones.
The meeting won’t take too long and good attendance is important for a successful meeting! |

| Liz Dima
A
Legal Research Assistant at Carlton Fields Law Firm, where she has
worked for 28 years, Liz has two “amazingly beautiful and loving
daughters, Nikki and Jodi” and two equally precious grandsons, Geoffery,
5, and Jaiden, 4, both a part of the Unity church family who are “ by
far, the very light and loves of my entire life.”
A Light
Bringer, Liz has attended almost every single class offered by the
Minister’s team. Leddy’s class on Lessons in Truth “lit a flame,” and
she feels blessed to have learned from other wonderful teachers and
spiritual leaders like the retired Rev. Gwen Cohenour and the Reverends
Judy Tafelski and Dieter Randolph, who, in addition to Leddy, taught her
the most about Unity principles in the classes she took with them.
Liz is our February "Heart of the House." |
