Dear UCC family,
I'm writing to ask anyone who may have some time this Saturday, March 14, to stop by the church around 9:00 AM to help me and a few other volunteers wipe down the hard surfaces around the church, like handles and doorknobs, throughout the building with disinfectant wipes. It shouldn't take too long, and will be a form of active prayer.
We know that as we do this with prayerful affirmation that God is our Life, we are literally wiping with LIGHT every place that hands may touch furnishings and doors in our Church home. We are not fearful, we are faithful, and cheerfully ready to do this as assurance that our Church home is a safe and welcoming space.
We are such a loving Church family, but we are choosing to "bump elbows" and bowing with "Namaste" instead of hugging, and honoring personal space, so that all can feel welcome to come to Unity to experience the healing vibration of positive music and smiling faces. This is a time for us to come together and support one another in staying safe and connected spiritually.
Many hands make light work. Many Unity hearts make Light work, blessing everything we touch with love!
