As people gear up for the conference, we have had a barrage of questions coming through. Some of the common ones are below
Q: When will the schedule be released? A: Friday, 29 May. We will notify you by email.
Q: Is this the same venue as Melbourne Showgrounds?
A: No, this is a different venue - The Grandstand, within the Flemington Racecourse. (It is adjacent to the showgrounds)
Q: Will the conference be held outdoors?
A: No, the conference is fully indoors and the venue is air conditioned (heated)
Q: Have the audio issues from last year been sorted out?
A: InshaAllah there will be no issues this year. One of the primary reasons this venue was chosen is because it is a professional conference facility with built in state of the art audio and video systems
Q: Will Salah facilities be provided?
A: Yes, we are planning on having a dedicated level for Salah
Q: Is childcare provided?
A: There is a Little Explorers World which is for kids aged between 5 and 8 years old. This is not a child care as such, but a full day kids workshop during both days. We also have a dedicated Mum's retreat for Mum's with younger kids.
Q: Is there parking at the venue?
A: Yes, parking is available at the venue. Parking charges are a flat $10 per day.
