Subject: You'll spend 5 years (!!!) of your life doing this...

Hi Friend,

According to research published in Adweek, the average person will spend more than 5 years (!!!) of their lives on social media.

That’s more time spent on social media than spent on eating and drinking (3 years 5 months) … Grooming (1 years 10 months) … and socializing (1 year 3 months).

We spend 4 TIMES as much time on social media as we do actually socializing!

What does that say about us as a society? I’m not sure. But one thing I know for sure, your ideal customers, clients, and readers are hanging out on social media.

The question is, what are you doing to connect with your audience on social media?

You know social media can be a great way to grow your blog or writing business.

But if you, like me, aren’t quite sure how to get started with social media, listen up:

I recently chatted with Jenn Herman, of the social media marketing blog Jenn’s Trends, about this very topic.

And during our chat, Jenn shared 6 things every writer must do to succeed at social media.

This is a great chat if you’re looking for simple, actionable ways to incorporate social media into your writing business. You can listen here:

And if you’re pressed for time, you can grab a copy of Jenn’s 6-Point Social Media Success Checklist here:

I hope you enjoy the audio training and checklist!

Until next time…

Stay hungry and keep hustling!
